The Georgian frontage of Rainbow Lodge in its original colours....with added canopy!;Wonderful Whitsand Bay - you can even get there by bus to sunbathe by the Atlantic!;
South Devon Railway: a superb steam-driven excursion that's just down the road from Plymouth;Dartmoor's watercourses - the Plym; Yealm; Erme; Avon and Dart - all start as streams but end up as substantial rivers;
Passengers disembark from the Cremyll Ferry - ferries; buses and trains are at the heart of Plymouth's public transport system;Cliffs at Burgh Island - a great little excursion to see where the fulmars fly;
Hoe Park - one minute's walk from our Guest House and you are here overlooking Plymouth Sound;The Barbican - we call it Fun Plymouth but it's historic Plymouth too. Just a few minutes' walk from Rainbow Lodge;
