Our building was hand-crafted with many beautiful details and features -- including reclaimed lumber.Every Thursday is pizza night at the Milkweed Mercantile Eco Inn. Our hand-crafted pizza features fresh mozzarella made onsite, hand-tossed dough, our own fresh herbs and many more artisanal and local ingredients. To top it off choose from our 36 local and/or sustainably-brewed beers!
The Aldo Leopold room is upstairs and has a king-size bed. The exterior walls in the Milkweed Mercantile are made of strawbales, which enabled us to sculpt the window openings into organic shapes rather than harsh, straight lines.Friends enjoying a beer and a glass of wine at the Milkweed Mercantile.
Canning seminars are offered during the summer months. Here, a class is making salsa with gorgeous heritage tomatoes. Your hosts, Alline and Kurt.
Homemade sourdough bread, made weekly at the Milkweed Mercantile.The David Brower Hell-Raiser Room. Two twin beds, desk, comfy arm chair and spacious enough for an in-room massage. Overhead fan keeps things cool in the summer.
