The dining room is home to gourmet hot and cold breakfast each morning. It also provides a lovely setting for your special event. The Grand Staircase: A prime example of the kind of historic elegance that awaits you at The King's Daughters Inn.
Enjoy our lovely sun porch.  It is a warm and inviting space for relaxing with a book, catching up with an old (or new!) friend, or sipping a cup of afternoon tea.The Parlor is beautifully appointed for intimate conversation with family and friends! You might also enjoy a board game here, or a quiet moment alone with a cup of coffee.
The King's Daughters Inn was lovingly and meticulously renovated to retain as much of the original detail and charm as possible. It was then decorated with touches that enhance the historic character, creating a unique setting for your stay.The Austin Suite - One of our largest accommodations, this first-story suite is decorated in black and white, with bold red accents.  The fold-out queen sofa in the sitting room means this suite can very comfortably sleep 4 guests.  Kick up your feet in the living room, or stretch out and relax in the palatial king bed.
The Markham Room - This first-story queen suite is a statement in chic design.  The velvet sofa folds out into a queen bed allowing the comfortable accommodation of 4 guests.  The Watts Room - Nestled in the rear corner of the main building, this second-story charmer never ceases to delight our guests.  Soft shades of green make it the perfect spot for a relaxing respite.  And the  "diving horse" headboard makes a beautifully dramatic statement.
The Moss Room - This coveted corner room features three walls of windows overlooking a beautiful stand of Oak and Magnolia trees.  Rise and shine with the morning sun following a restful night's sleep in the satiny blue shades of Moss.The Tyree Room - A nod to the age of glamour, this room is dressed in apricot tinted silk and velvet.  Mirrored accents add to the feel of timeless decadence and luxury.  Pamper your self and your senses during your vacation.  You deserve it!
The Howerton Room - Perfect for those favoring a more tailored look.  This second-story room features lovely views of Duke University's East Campus. An English-style writing desk, wing-back chair, and glass-enclosed shower all add to the cozy charm of the Howerton.The Exum Room - Affectionately known as the "Tommy Bahama" room in reference to the tropical decor. Guests of Exum enjoy a queen bed, writing desk, generous seating area, and walk-in closet.  Staying in Exum provides the feeling of an island escape with the convenience of a short walk to the center of Durham's Downtown.
The Crews Room - This beautiful corner room affords some of the best views from the inn:  Three walls of windows overlooking the ancient Oak and Magnolia trees that grace Duke University's East Campus.  A warm color scheme and conservative, elegant decor provide the perfect backdrop for your holiday getaway.  The Trinity Room - The creme de la creme!  This luxury second story king suite features an adjoining sun porch overlooking Durham's historic Trinity Park neighborhood.  Take advantage of the air-jet tub, roomy glass-enclosed shower, and double vanity in the lavatory.  It's opulence at its finest!
The Parrish Suite - Not your average B&B decor!  This fun 2-room suite is decked out in a funky black, white and purple design scheme.  A deco-inspired shell headboard adorns the queen bed.  Glass-top coffee table and mirrored accents add a little light and sparkle to this purple paradise. The Farthing Suite - This second-story  king suite is one of our most spacious accommodations, comfortably housing 4 guests.  Farthing is elegantly appointed with a classic black and white decor.
The Womack Room - This guestroom is as stylish as it is practical.  Our ADA-compliant room features a lower bed, roll-in shower with bench, and easy elevator access.    Enjoy your stay in this beautiful first-story guestroom.The Saunders Room - Serenity is what the Saunders room is all about.  A second-story queen room, Saunders is highlighted by an intimate adjoining sun porch.  A warm neutral color scheme adds lightness to this perennial favorite.
The Woodard Room - The bespoke design scheme of Woodard evokes the subtle charms of early 20th century aristocratic lodgings.  Black, white and burgundy accentuate the relaxing traditional theme.  With views of Duke University's tree-flecked East Campus, an English style writing desk and glass-enclosed shower, rest and rejuvenation are sure to be had in the Woodard guestroom!The Rigsbee Suite - Experience a taste of the golden age of Hollywood in the Rigsbee Suite.  Deco glamour in black and white with red accents provide an opulent backdrop for a luxurious retreat.
The Tomlinson Room - Tomlinson is situated at the top of the grand staircase on the second floor.  It's placement in the back of the building affords it extra peace and quiet for those travelers who need it.  Spaciously appointed with queen bed, writing desk and full seating area, Tomlinson is the perfect place for recreation travelers to stretch out and relax, and for business travelers to get some work done.The Lathrop-Morehead Suite - First rate comfort abounds in this first-story queen suite.  From the leather headboard and chic design to the pull out queen sofa in the separate sitting room, Lathrop-Morehead provides the very best mix of historic charm and modern style and convenience.
