The Blue Goose Inn is set in two historic homes, and this one is the John and Jane Kineth House, built in 1887. With all original woodwork, softwood floors, high ceilings and even the original windows, this home is a beautiful example of Italianate architecture.The central garden area between the two homes of The Blue Goose Inn provide the perfect spot for an afternoon glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee.  Enjoy watching the gold finches at the feeders, or the view of Mt. Baker across Penn Cove.  A perfect place to relax and enjoy!
The historic Coupe-Gillespie house was built in 1891.  It is now one of the two gracious homes that make up The Blue Goose Inn.  The rooms in this house are the Quarterdeck Suite (on the ground floor), the Chart Room, and the Captain's Suite.  All have private baths, and windows on the front of the house looking out to Penn Cove.Breakfast is served each morning on the sun porch, where you'll enjoy views of the garden and Mt. Baker.  Watch the goldfinches at the bird feeders, or snap a photo of the deer wandering by!
Quarterdeck Suite: Step back in time as you enter this spacious ground floor two-room suite with 10' ceilings, original wood pocket doors and wood floors.The Penn Cove Suite is upstairs on the front of the Kineth House.  You'll enjoy lots of natural light from the bay windows looking out to Penn Cove and Mt Baker. Private bath with antique claw-foot tub.
The Mt. Baker Suite, our most spacious room is furnished with a pillow top king size bed and lovely antiques throughout.  Enjoy the view of Mt. Baker as you wake each morning.  Private bath with jacuzzi tub, and many amenities.The Captain's Suite is a newly remodeled oversize corner bedroom in the historic Coupe-Gillespie House (blue). King bed, extra large jetted tub and separate shower.
This newly remodeled kitchen is part of the Garden Suite vacation rental. You'll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation on Whidbey Island.Enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine in our lovely front parlor.  Filled with beautiful antiques, an 1895 pump organ, and a marbleized stone fireplace, this room is a step back in time.
The Chart Room is upstairs in the historic Coupe house. Enjoy views of the gardens and Penn Cove. Relax in the private bath equipped with a steam sauna.Relax in one of two antique claw foot tubs available in rooms of the historic Kineth House.
1905 Coupeville Wharf.  Enjoy a stroll down to the picturesque town of Coupeville with it's historic wharf and many original buildings. Coupeville has many wonderful shops, galleries and restaurants, and is the heart of Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve.Visit the 1903 Admiralty Head lighthouse at Ft Casey and enjoy the sunset views, whale watching or large ships in the sea channel.
