The over sized Highland Suite is located on the third floor and features an antique queen bed, private full bath, living area with a double sized sleeper sofa and a small kitchenetteThe General Logan room is furnished with a Queen sized bed and private full bath. This room also has a twin sized trundle bed, which can accommodate a 3rd person. For those who may be sensitive to city noises, this room is situated on the front of the house, and does experience more traffic noise.
We serve a full hot cooked breakfast each morning at 8am. Enjoy meeting other guests, many from all over the world, and Don, the owner of the B&B, retired from National Geographic.Guests are welcomed to enjoy the 2 first floor parlor's. The home was built in the late 1800's, and features period high ceilings, plaster molding, ornate chandeliers, and carved fireplace mantels. The owners have strived to furnished the parlor's as they would have been when the home was built. Step back in time to the Victorian era if only for a few days of your life.
The second parlor, adjacent to the front main parlor is a bit more cozy and intimate. This room continues with the period Victorian features, and overlooks the rear deck and Magnolia tree. The Cinnamon room features a King sized bed. This large room includes a private bath with large walk in shower but no bathtub. For those who are sensitive to city noises, this room is located on the back of the house and can be quieter than the General Logan or Highland rooms.
The Highland room, located on the third floor of the house, is furnished with a Queen sized bed and a full private bath. The sofa opens to a Double sized bed, allowing for and extra guest (or guests if they are younger children). This room also has a small kitchenette. Guests are welcome to use the kitchenette for light meals or snacks. The Magnolia room is located on the second floor of the house and features a queen sized bed, and a private full bath. This room is located in the middle of the house, with windows overlooking the Magnolia tree in the backyard. For those sensitive to city noises, this room likely better choice over the General Logan and Highland rooms.
The General Logan room, one of the largest rooms in the house, is located on the second floor, overlooking Logan circle. Furnishings include a Queen sized bed, attached full bath and writing desk. There is also a twin sized trundle bed, which can allow for up to 3 guests. With overlooking Logan circle, and our downtown city location, those sensitive to city noises, may want to choose the Cinnamon or Magnolia rooms, situated facing the rear of the house, a bit quieter.
