Here we are...Mike and Milena with little Zoey and Wookiee boy. We'd love to meet you and help you plan your holiday.Just around the corner from the Wld Rose is a garden area under the giant sycamore tree. Great shade in the summer for relaxing or reading time.
The Sycamore chalet on the left and the Morning Glory on the right seem close, yet they both offer a great deal of privacy. Each have an upstairs deck with adirondack chairs for your early morning coffee or evening cocktails. The cabins are about 500 sq. feet in size, with plenty of room for both togetherness and soul searching. Our chalet cabins offer an upstairs open loft bedroom with a queen size bed...a comfortable relaxation area...lots of windows and light. A private outside deck just for the two of you.
Looking towards the north of Oak Creek Canyon, the red rocks surround our little spot, offering an interesting and unusual landscape.Imagine yourself lounging in front of a cozy fire, reading a good book or enjoying a quiet, romantic moment with that special someone.
The Honeysuckle cabin has a large front deck with a small table and chairs and gas grill. From its swing, you can enjoy the canyon views and night skies. Our most popular and requested cabin via the internet...the Honeysuckle is just what a cabin should be. Rustic, but modern in amenities is more intimate with the bedroom/living room combined. Lay in bed and watch the fire. The cabin has a cozy kitchen with a small breakfast nook. Relax in the small whirlpool bathtub letting your everyday cares slip away.
Birds are our specialty. This great blue heron hung around for at least an hour much to the delight of our guests. Our new electric fireplaces! Mike said he was getting too old and tired to keep chopping wood, stacking and cleaning all of our fireplaces. Got to keep my man happy and healthy.
We do get some snow in the winter months. The canyon crew do a great job of keeping the road clear. It is a wonderful sight with the red rocks covered in a white dress. Guests love that winter setting.Just about 300 feet down the road from us is Sterling Pass....a wonderful hike. It climbs and is not the easiest start to your hiking vacation. But just take it easy and you too will enjoy these views.
Across from our property, Oak Creek beckons our guests.
