Nestled in a grove of ancient oak trees, the Black Mountain Inn has welcome guests for more than a century.
Looking to REALLY relax?  We are pleased to now offer on-site Spa Services!  Indulge yourself guilt-free, for the packages are designed to provide the best of services for affordable prices so that everyone can treat themselves well.  Call (828) 669 6528for details.The Loft consisting of the entire third floor,was established as Oak Knoll Art Studio and enjoyed an association with Black Mountain College.    The tranquility of this beautiful sanctuary is furnished in part by a truly unique door that opens up from the top of the staircase and operates by means of a large and ornate counterweight. Once the door is closed, the Loft becomes a quiet world of its own where peace and contentment flourish.

A queen bed nestled along the eastern wall catches all the morning light, and welcomes the weary with comfortable charm. On the opposite side of the spacious room is a double futon for extra sleepers and a cozy sitting area. The northern wall invites lots of neutral sunlight to bathe the room in gentle rays.

Full private bath with shower; microwave, table and chairs, and a mini-refrigerator right in the room provide the welcome necessities for a pleasurable stay. $169.
The Dinning room is paneled in wormy chestnut now an extinct wood.  Breakfast is served in the dinning room each morning.Wood fires keep our guest cozy in the cool mountain weather!
