Surrounded by century old oaks the Gray Goose Inn has been welcoming travelers for 20 years. The cry of Canada geese and soft shrill of songbirds fill the air setting the mood for Dune Countries Premier Country Inn.aahh...the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods waft through the inn. Calling you to a sumptous breakfast being prepared especially for you and served to your table. Panoramic views of lake Palomara while watching the ducks and geese playing on the lake only add to your unfolding experience.
What's on the menu today? Homeade cheese filled crepes with fresh raspberry sauce and our special tasty, plump pork sausage. Your coice of juice from orange, tomatoe, grapefruit or cran/raspberry to cool crisp apple juice in the fall and winter. Muffins and fruit cup, coffee or tea complete your three course breakfast. The Lon Schneider Suite with panoramic views of Lake Palomara evokes a feeling of comfort and relaxation. A queen four poster bed and a crackling fire sets the mood for romance and dreams of another time. Memories to last a lifetime.
The Gray Goose Inn overlooking Lake Palomara is home to a wide array of bird and wildlife. From Canada geese to mallards and Blue Heron. A Great Blue Heron sits stoically here among the trees.A visit to the Indiana Dunes and Lake Michigan are an experience not to be missed. Massive sand dunes remenants of an ice age long gone are unique to Northern Indiana. Hike the many trails, climb the highest dunes. Take a refreshing dip in the cool refreshing waters of lake Michigan.
