The gorgeous Capital Building in Montpelier, where you can walk in, and see Vermont's Legislature at work. Vermont's political process remains pretty much as it was 200 years ago!The Covered Bridges Half-Marathon is run each year at the beginning of June and this year, we gave our guests a T-shirt commemorating the accomplishments of "Team Applebutter."
Cross-country skiing on miles of groomed trails or snow-shoeing through our snowy woods is exhilarating! Woodstock is truly a Wonderland in Winter!Justice of the Peace Mary Reilly performs a Wedding Ceremony on our back porch. It's an honor for us to be present when folks declare their eternal love!
Autumn in Vermont features bright, sunny days, and cool, crisp nights. Here, the morning frost on the pumpkins usually burns off by mid-morning!With the tree lit, the stockings hung and the fire ablaze, the Yellow Room is decked out for Christmas! This is a great place to warm up with tea and cookies on a snowy Vermont evening.
