Relax with a good book or a movie in the magnificent oak-paneled library.The living room features an antique imported Italian marble fireplace mantle, 11-foot ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and comfortable seating.
Enjoy the view of the garden from the sunroom or tickle the ivories on the lovingly restored 1925 baby grand piano.The dining room features one of the unique chandeliers throughout the house.
Late spring is Peony time at Clarke Manor. The gardens are overflowing with these magnificent beauties!You won't go away hungry after the scrumptious full breakfast prepared by Rose, our Innkeeper.
The Italian Suite features a king-size pillowtop bed, fine linens, huge sitting/dressing room, marble tiled shower and a 42" HDTV. The sitting room has nice views of our gardens and the surrounding neighborhood.The San Francisco Suite is comprised of two adjoining rooms. The Asian Room has a king-size pillowtop bed, fine linens and a 42" HDTV. The Golden Gate Room is equally luxurious with a queen-size bed and LCD TV. The retro black and white bathroom harkens back to the 30's with its original subway tile walls and classic fixtures.
Experience the "Zen" of the Asian Room (San Francisco Suite).You'll love the soothing palate of the Golden Gate Room (San Francisco Suite).
The Hunt Room features a queen-size pillowtop bed, fine linens, a 37" HDTV and wood-paneled walls. It also has the largest bathroom in the house, just outside the bedroom door.Ooh La La! The Paris Room is a little more feminine, a little more flirty than our other rooms. It features a queen-size pillowtop bed, fine linens, LCD TV, a marble tiled shower, antique armoire & dressing table and lovely views of the garden and downtown Dubuque.
