This southwest view from the main deck at Wildberry Lodge is spectacular year round. Come and see for yourself the mountain sunsets, the gentle breeze on a warm summer night, the cloud formations just after a rain, and of course the fall colors... Whether you are seeking a quiet retreat for some well deserved rejuvenation, an exciting rafting experience or a romantic getaway, Wildberry Lodge is great escape destination - only 15 miles from Asheville.
Early spring - with promise of new life.The Blackberry Suite is a 3 room suite. Enjoy the King size deluxe 4 poster bed with luxury linens, wood burning Fireplace, & Spectacular Mountain and sunset views. The bath features a jetted soaking tub, shower,luxury bath amenities, Spa Robes and candles for relaxing. Don't miss the sunroom with 2 walls of windows, or the private deck.
The Honeymoon Cabin is 1000 sq ft of luxury. Spa bath includes Kohler Riverbath for 2, a 2 person spa shower with 6 body spray jets and 4 shower heads. The Cabin has a kingsize bed, 42" flat screen TV, DVD player, gas fireplace with remote control, Private deck with gas grill, full kitchen....3 course gourmet breakfast is included.The Gooseberry room featuring knotty pine furniture is perfect for viewing sunsets from your bed. The location of this room gives it the best mountain and valley views available. Sit on your private balcony and watch the stars. The bath has romantic lighting and a Jacuzzi for 2. The Strawberry Room has a balcony with seating for 2. The Log architecture - purlins and ties logs visible in the cathedral ceiling are wonderful. A single person tub melts away your cares.The fireplace in in the greatroom has 26 ton of local Mountain rock.

Raspberry Room has a deluxe queen size bed, oversized walkin shower and rustic wildlife decorAfter a rain, fog fills the valley.
It took the largest crane we could find to lift the logs into place. But look at the view...I thought you might enjoy seeing the front peak of the Great Hall - as it was gently being lowered into place. These guys have more guts than I do... see the peaks of the mountains at the bottom of the picture...
