The “Big Sky” Suite - only room on the 2nd floor with great 360 0 views of the valley. Private deck, full bath and private entry. The “Montana” Cabin has a great front porch looking over the woods and meadows. There’s a full kitchen and comfortable living room. Picnic table and BBQ. Very private and quiet.
The “Homestead” Cabin built in 1920. Original potbelly stove, sleeps up to 5, and we added a full bath (No outhouse for our guests!) Hammock between two old apple trees and BBQ, picnic table.Breakfast in the SunRoom. Fresh ground coffee, juices and enough food to feed all the hands!
Our little two-year old paint horse “Shiloh”. We are a “Barn & Breakfast” too and welcome those traveling with their equine buddies!Yep, even our Granddaughter, Madeline, a future U of Montana Cheerleader, thinks that Deer Crossing is the best!
Take a car, train, plane or bus - maybe even a wagon - but just get here. This old buckboard is located at the ghost town of Banner, Montana’s first capitol! You don’t have to argue over rooms, we have plenty of space. These two bull elk were separated with a little help and a hacksaw. Montana is the full of great wildlife from the American Bison to Bald Eagles to Wolves and Bears....
No reservation for this black bear so he had to move on down the road - probably to some cheap motel! These guys show up in late fall to fill up on our apples before sleeping the winter away! The beautiful colors of the foothills in fall. Every season is a “great season” at Deer Crossing B&B
