We love the Cabin at Glenking. We try to go every fall. I live 30 min. away so we use the cabin for entertaing or friends. Girlfriends At The Cabin and then at times we invite another couple to join us. Next year we plan to take our grandchildren. Marilyn and Chris are very kind and accomidating. I found this diamond in the rough while searching out cabins and B&B's that were not too far from our home. I was planning an early anniversary getaway for my wife and me.....God must have been with me in my search as we could not have asked for a more pleasant and beautiful place to enjoy each other's company! The cabin itself is so cozy and authentic.....my wife and I had always wanted to stay in such a place....no we have! The grounds and the trails really shows the wonders of God's gifts! The chirping birds, the falling leaves, the wonderful trees, the beautiful ponds....the list goes on and on. Chris and Marilyn King (the innkeepers) could not have been more pleasant and hospitable. We felt like we were visiting members of our own family, and that made our experience all the better! We are planning a return trip this spring with our little girls, and quite possibly my parents. If you are reading this review, I encourage you wholeheartedly to make your reservation. You will not be disappointed with the peace you will find and the beauty of nature you will experience! We came to Glenking for our Anniversary and wanted a place that was special. Glenking was more than enough for us to enjoy our occasion. The warmth and homeyness of the cabin is remarkable. We never once felt like we left our own place. The grounds were breathtaking and perfect for the October vacation we hoped to enjoy. Chris and Marilyn feel like family, also. So nice and down to earth. We got all the info we needed about the place as soon as we got there. We've been to alot of places and this is as good as it gets. Glenking B&B is a peaceful and relaxing getaway that everyone can enjoy! My husband and I had the opportunity to spend the weekend at Glenking and so enjoyed our stay. The hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. King is delightful and the homemade breakfast treats were delicious. We enjoyed walking the trails, fishing and playing with "Shadow" the dog. My husband and I cannot wait to visit the cabin again this coming winter and see how beautiful it is during the holiday season. We enjoyed a very relaxing 3 day stay in this clean, well equipted log cabin. We liked sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and listening to the wonderful sounds of nature. We came with books to read and de-stress. We picked a wonderful place to do just that.

Our one-night stay at The Cabin was wonderful. We loved the woods, the beautiful trees, and especially the birds. The sounds of the woods lulled us into a peaceful rest. The Cabin itself was rustic, perfectly clean, and cozy. The food was perfect and Marilyn and Chris made themselves available while not being intrusive. We would definitely go again. It was just the respite we needed for a short getaway.
