We spent our anniversary weekend here. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous rooms, had that "homey" feel to it. We were impressed with Craig and his knowledge of vermont, places to dine, directions to attractions and restaurants. Impeccable, we will be back. Breakfast was oh so scrumptious!!!

My husband and I had the most enjoyable time at Frod's Leap Inn.We stayed for 3 days and were treated with the warmest of hospitality. Kraig and Dorenna would go out of their way to ensure that your needs were all met and that you were comfortable, not to mention the superb breakfast that Dorenna would cook up in the mornings, nothing like you have ever had.The property is large and relaxing to walk around and watch the chickens peck their way through the brushes.I'm sure it must be beautiful in the spring when all their flowers are in bloom. We enjoyed the fall colors from the aged old trees in the front. The Hart's added that extra touch to make our 25th anniversary more memorable. Highly recommend. Cindy & Gerard San Diego, CA

We just returned from Frog's Leap Inn for Columbus Day weekend. Kraig and Dorenna could not do enought for us. The Inn felt so warm and we felt like we were at home. The food was outstanding, especially the banana crepe was had for dessert. Breakfast was great! We will definately be back.

A comfortable room and we enjoyed the Vermont hospitality. We were in room 6, which had a separate sitting room which was quite lovely and unexpected. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. Donna really knows her way around the kitchen! Made our trip to Vermont a memorable one.

My wife and I have been staying at the Frogs Leap Inn for many years. We have enjoyed its rustic New England charm year around. In the winter I enjoy the meals the Hart's serve in the fireplace heated dining room. The warmth of the crackling fire and winter wonderland vista from the dining room is unbeatable. In other seasons we have witnessed deer and wild turkey families grazing on the lawns while dining. In the spring summer and fall we enjoy the gardens with the wonderful variety of natural and planted flowers and trees. In the summer months we have also enjoyed the use of the large swimming pool and hiking the trails that run through the woods in the area near the Inn and the Appalachian Trail that traverses Vermont to its west. Frogs Leap is located in central Vermont and can provide a hub from which travel to the many interesting venue's located near by. Weston itself provides the Vermont Country Store, and in the summer months , The Weston Playhouse and Theater Company . Make sure you walk the town common and view the waterfall on the West river behind the theater building. Weston also has crafts fairs and a Blue Grass music festival. It also home to an order of Benedictine Monks at the Weston priory. I would recommend a walk on their grounds and witnessing some of their services if not from a religious point of view it does present a wonderful cultural experience. Bring a picnic basket if you like. There are certain experiences in life that are never bad ! Fall in New England is in that category. The years weather will produce colors in the trees as winter approaches. Some years bring better colors than others but there in never a bad Fall in Vermont. Ski season finds you close to 5 ski area's. When you return to Frogs leap You will be able to exercise another of life's never bad experiences ..A good nights sleep ! Jim & Sue W. Sun City West Az

Frog's Leap Inn Outdoor pool - picture taken in early September for a casual wedding party. A fun place to gather, relax and swim. In the background is one of our Apartment units, the Tad Pool House. Great views of surrounding mountains and gardens. View from the front steps of Frog's Leap Inn. Fall leaves falling. We leave them to walk and play in - they smell wonderful! and the sound (crunch, crunch)! Later in the fall, they become mulch for the gardens and in the spring compost.

Photo ops abound for the avid photographer. A crabapple tree in bloom. Photo from Pool side. Our natural and organic gardens change character every year. From tree peonies to poppies, daffodils to daylilies. Our natural country gardens are fun to explore and are people and pet friendly - meaning you can walk through them, peer under bushes, not just view them from a segregated distance. We strive to keep the historic country farm atmosphere - not highly manicured gardens, but natural organic gardens that feed the birds and others and offer a natural woodland and field setting with surprises. Our Dining room at the inn.
