Our 2-night stay was great - the cabin is small, but such attention is paid to detail that you just don't notice the size, really. This b&b is in the country (a gps was very helpful in finding it), lots of pine and oak trees, gracious hosts, wonderful breakfasts, comfortable bed, Blue Bell ice cream in the little fridge-freezer, homemade brownies to welcome us, and more. The surrounding East TX countryside is so pretty; we're considering a return trip in the spring when the dogwood is in bloom. Recommended!

You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner, more peaceful, amenity packed home away from home that also offers up brownies upon arrival, happy hour, fishing, deer, hiking, and winery coupons! ALL within the price of admission! My room had binoculars and a book on birding to enjoy along the well groomed paths. The proprietors run this like a business, for which you feel most welcome. Wow is what I have to say to Randy and Marilyn. As my husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and only had time for a quick trip, Randy and Marilyn made staying near home a great way to celebrate. From the great customer service on the phone to the fabulous cabins and breakfast. This was a great retreat for couples looking to relax reconnect. With the busy life we all live these days it was such a peace of heaven to stay at Oak Creek where we could listen to the birds and quietness. We even saw some wild hogs which was a neat experience too. Thank you Randy and Marilyn for a fabulous time and we WILL see you again real soon. I highly reccommend Oak Creek B&B as we've stayed in lots of B&B's before, but this is one high class B&B and wow how clean...I am very picky when it comes to cleanness and it was clean. Perfection- that's what Oak Creek B&B has to offer. The cottage was simple but so appealing. The scenery was beautiful and calming. And the Innkeepers were wonderful and could not have done more to make our stay "perfect"! Not as hard to find as we thought and so worth the effort, Very pleasantly surprized by the clean, neat and functional accomodations. Surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The food was excellent. You could not ask for more gracious hosts. We went to Athens to go to Trade Days, in Canton, but Oak Creek proved to be the high point.

Celebrated our 45th anniversary in a truly unique setting; a sparkling clean cottage tucked away in amongst the trees. My husband loved catching fish in the lake. We especially enjoyed starting each day with a delicious breakfast served by charming hosts. They really cater to your needs/wishes and pay attention to detail. Highly recommend this B&B for rest, relaxation, scenery, privacy, fishing, great breakfast and friendly, caring hosts. We are already planning a return trip in the Fall. Randy and Marilyn actually cares about there guests. They want you to tell them if there is anything they can do to make your stay better. I couldn't think of a thing that they forgot, it was truely a great getaway. My wife and I were amazed by the quiet beauty of Oak Creek B&B. With its setting hundreds of yards from a tiny road, with thick forest in between, once there you feel like you are miles from the nearest civilization. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the service was attentive but not intrusive, and the whole mood was on of total peace and relaxation. We will definitely be back.

Our first (but not last!) stay at Oak Creek B & B was such a wonderful experience. Randy and Marilyn were the most gracious hosts we've ever met, and we stay at B&B's frequently. The cottage was exceptionally cozy, beautifully decorated with such special touches as Egyptian cotten sheets and Blue Bell Ice Cream. We were welcomed with wine and wildlife! It was a treat to sleep with the windows open and waking up to birds singing, instead of traffic and noisy neighbors. Oak Creek truly was an awesome experience!

We picked Oak Creek B&B as our first call to our first visit to Canton, Tx. Our inquiry netted a phone call within minutes from the owner. All of my questions were answered and we placed our reservation. The owners were very cordial and made your stay wanting to return. The breakfast in the main house was excellent. The property is laid out nicely with your B&B privately situated from the main house. There is no TV which was excellent for us to spend time talking and reading if not out walking. You are nestled deep in the woods with no city sounds allowing you to hear all the different sounds of nature. We are looking forward to our return. You won't be disappointed.
