My wife and I stayed at the Pecan Tree Inn of Hickory, in August of this year. My wife, of 34 years came from the country and loved the stay. The rooms were spacious for me (A big guy). House is big, open, and VERY CLEAN. Although it has been there for some time the inside looked as if it were built a few years ago to new. Very thoughtful people, latches handles on doors instead of normal door knobs. The pictures are good, but still does not cover things like seeing the deer in the mornings while awaiting/having breakfast. Again, my wife's folks, from the Virgina. She lived and had worked in tobacco fields as a kid growing up in Maryland and has missed the country mornings with a friendly family environment. We injoyed it VERY much.

What can you say about an accomodation that is second to none! Warm and friendly folks who are sincerely interested and concerned for your personal comfort. A beautiful country setting, the only noise being birds and the horses, llamas and goats grazing in the pasture. If that is not enough to arouse your interest, then sit down to a breakfast of bacon and eggs, belgian waffles, fruit compote, orange juice and coffee. We can't imagine anyone complaining about leaving hungry. Our only regret was only staying one night. We would certainly stay at Pecan Tree Inn when passing through this area again.

The quality of this B&B is beyond the call of duty. The Innkeepers are the nicest of people, going beyond expectations to make our stay extremely enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious and true to southern cooking. The event planner will do whatever is needed whether it is assist you in choosing a place to eat, calling ahead with reservations to the restaurant, printing off directions to local attractions or the boarding passes for your flight. Large extra comfy beds with decor that is second to none. A must stay for anyone with high expectations!!!

All you need to bring here are your clothes! What a breath of fresh air... Dave and Cindy do everything to exceed the level of comfort you could expect. From smiling faces that welcome any tired business person to just needing a weekend away, this place has it all! I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoy coming to this place and how renewed I feel when I leave... Thank you for your hospitality.....
