We stayed just one night on the day of our arrival in Costa Rica and wish we could have extended. Coyote is a much better choice than the airport hotels when coming or going. It was a bit hard to find, though once we trusted the directions that came with the confirmation it wasn't so bad. The Inn is about 25 minutes from San Ramon, so its a great stopping point if you are heading to Arenal. We were able to relax, had a massage, and enjoyed hiking up to the mountaintop.

We got the online special for $89/night and the place simply enchanted us. The room we got was situated off of a beautiful courtyard lush with plants. Out the back door we could relax in Adirondack chairs and look at the view. Everything was clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. This is not a place for action or hard adventure, but we enjoyed the hiking trails and also took a day trip to the cloud forest. It's really the kind of place you want to go to relax with no distractions, like if you have a really stressful daily life. If we come back to Costa Rica, we would book the Observatory.

We enjoyed 2 days of perfect relaxation and enjoyment of nature. The place is secluded and a bit hard to find, but because of this it was never crowded or noisy. We truly enjoyed hiking the trails and exploring the grounds and gardens. We soaked in the hot tub and then had a massage from Rosa--fantastic! This is a place to really get away from the pressures of everyday life--a true decompression destination. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. One of the highlights is the architecture--truly like staying as privileged guests in a palace amidst the jungle. It was a simply wonderful experience.
