Candle-lit fine dining and Wine Makers Dinners are available on request and make ideal Anniversary and Birthday treats. Our rooms are newly refurbished with Queen Beds and quality furnishings and our Balcony Room is relaxation personified. Located in historic Charlotte Court House, with nearby Civil War history at Appomattox, Revolutionary history at Redhill, the latter day home of Patrick Henry, and for the wine lover, our newly incorporated SOVA Wine Trail

The Garden Room has a Queen Four Poster Bed with crisp sheets and cozy bedding.The Garden Room has comfy reading chairs, with good light as it overlooks the garden to the rear and the meadow to the side. Room amenities include Direct TV, hairdryers and soft bathrobes.
The Balcony Room has a Queen Panelled bed.   Original yellow pine floors and attractive ceiling moldings make this a lovely room to relax in.  The Balcony Room has a window overlooking the front and a unique dutch door with screen, leading to a private balcony.  Amenities include comfy chairs, Direct TV, Hairdryer and soft robes.
The Balcony affords good views across the property.  With tall hardwood trees surrounding, it's perfect for birdwatchers and in the evening, enjoy the nightsky.   We will happily serve you breakfast in this idealic setting.Take advantage of our fine dining options in the elegant dining room.
Our grand hallway leads out to the back deck - a perfect spot to enjoy the wildlife.The original screened in porch has been fully renovated and is perfect for relaxation and reading.
The grounds boast many hardwood trees and our resident groundhog will come out and entertain you.   This year he surprised us with a mate and 5 pups ... they were so cute ... we wonder what surprises he will have for us next spring??
