We stayed for 4 nights and you cannot find a better place! The rooms are clean and very comfortable -- And the breakfast it is indescribable! After the gourmet breakfast you will want to skip lunch!!! If we were to rate this B&B on a scale of 1-5 it would be a 5+. If you plan to see the White Mountains and Franconia Park, this is the place to stay.

My husband and I spent 5 nights there this spring and it was a grand experience. We were in the beautiful Maple Room and it was a choice experience. The breakfasts were outstanding. All in all it was one of those experiences that you would like to do again and again. Thanks George and Cindy for a great time.

We visited New Hampshire in the Fall and stayed at The Clarke House. The house beautifully renovated keeping all the charm of its era. The rooms are luxuriously decorated and are cozy and comfortable. The food is out of this world; go prepared to be pampered. I am sure you will love it as we did.

I have stayed at the Clarke House B&B each season for the past 2 years and plan on continuing to visit as much as I can. My husband and I find it perfectly situated, each room beautifully decorated, the Clarkes most hospitable, the breakfasts simply out-of-this-world - all at a very reasonable rate. This is an exceptional place to stay. I very highly recommend it.

I should start by telling you that I am not a big "B&B" type of person. I always felt more comfortable staying in a "chain" hotel because I just knew what to expect. Well, just a couple of weeks ago now, I decided to try the B&B thing once again up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With some prodding from my husband we settled on The Clarke House B&B and I truly had the best time. The inn was absolutely beautiful like right from a magazine, the food was delicious and there was a ton of it (my husband was happy about that). The local area has a lot to offer as well, the views are just breathtaking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the charm of the inn made it all worth it. Now that is something you sure don't get from a chain hotel! My husband and I are so excited to go back we want to continue going back until we have tried each different room. We plan to bring a few friends with us too! Whether you are a "B&B person" or not you just have to give this one a try, it convinced me!
