We stayed at the Gilbert Inn for 5 nights Dec 08-Jan 09 and it was an all-round wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Our room was immaculately clean, the bedding was luxurious, the breakfasts were delicious, the host was gracious and helpful, and the location was central to so many activities. After a day's outings it was lovely to sit in front of a fire in the Inn's living room, and sample Jeanie's cookies, which were made fresh every day. One block from the beach, and lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Linda & John, Vancouer, BC

My husband and I have stayed here numerous times over the years and each time is better then the last. The rooms are all comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is spectacular and they will meet any special dietary needs you might have. The innkeepers are so friendly and helpful, its like they are family when we go. I highly recommend this location while in Seaside! Only a 1/2 block to the beach and right in town. It cannot be beat!!

My husband and I stayed here while on our Honeymoon. The owners were Very nice. The breakfast was the best part, it was a home style gormet breakfast and something new was served everyday. I wish we could have stayed longer. Both the bed and bath were clean and well decorated.
