It was almost a year ago when my wife and I stayed at the Old Wetumpka House. We had a wonderful 20th wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful, the lounge room was excellent with its record player (some nice old music) and a selection of good movies, and the area was a delight. I would recommend this bed & breakfast to anyone!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend with Dale at her beautiful B&B......the house has such a warm and friendly atmosphere and Dale is the best hostess anyone could ask for and "cook" for sure........ We stayed in the Robbins Room, which was beautiful and I love antiques. We love to go to B&B's everywhere and we were very pleased with the Old Wetumka House. We had dinner at Our House Cafe and it has a different style than what we are all used to, it's an old, old grocery store on the river that has been turned into this restaurant, quite charming and good food, too. We took our motorcycle with us and had a wonderful ride to Lake Martin, and on old back roads, it was a beautiful sunny day, we love to ride...... We hope to return to visit Dale one day................ for another quiet and peaceful weekend....... Friends from Pelham

The Old Wetumpka House is full of pre-Civil War charm. The house is decorated beautifully -- with many old-fashioned artifacts. There is much history to the "feel" of this B&B.

We were In Al for a Family reunion, in the A.m., while everyone else had restaurant food or cold cereal, we were enjoying a wonderfully prepared breakfast! Our Room was beautiful and the home was charming as was the inn keeper! Would absolutely stay there again!

My wife and I arrived at the Old Wetumka House late that first evening. We had traveled most of the day and were tired. We were shown our room (Robbins Room) and practically fell into bed. The king bed was so comfortable we had no problem falling asleep. The room was furnished in wonderful period antiques which made us feel right at home. In the morning, we awakened to the most wonderful aroma...breakfast cooking! The eggs, potatoes and bacon were scrumpcious! And with all the trimmings...OJ, hot coffee, home made buscuits. It was a wonderful start to the day. This was repeated the whole time we were there. We were frequently asked if we had any requests. Dale Heath (and her husband too) made us feel like we were at home. And the food was tremendous. Make sure you request the french toast.
