My experience from a seven day stay: Dark "garden" room with no private exterior access, but the view through the potting shed is pleasant. Two small beds and the nephew lives in the adjacent room Adjacent hall bath -- not far, but not private After three days without a clean towel I finally ask what to do and even then there was no attempt the change the bath linens for the balance of my stay No glassware available -- again I had to ask each time I wanted a clean glass No trash collection -- when the trash basket was full I used a paper sack for a few days until I gave up and went to find a solution and had to empty my trash into the outdoor (stinking) bins. No place to put the suitcase -- the dresser drawers were populated with the Akbar's personal items so there was no room to put away my clothes. Television is smaller than my laptop (but bring your VHS tapes . . .) The desk / workspace is in a traffic area Several (friendly) cats Good coffee The Akbar's are friendly though unqualified as innkeepers

My husband and I stayed at Arrowood Court while we were in town apartment-hunting. What a welcome relief to stay in a home after long days out and about. The room was phenomenal... beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, large shower, whirlpool tub. A deluxe continental breakfast was provided each morning. The B&B is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood that is quiet and safe. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone needing to stay in Bethesda.

This was a last minute decision for me to make this trip. All the normal hotel choices were booked, so I thought i would try a B&B. Did a search and the Arrowood location caught my eye. I called and spoke with Mike Akbar; after a few minutes I new this would be a great choice. He was extremely helpfull, sent me directions for all of my trip needs and was a gracious host even after I locked my room with the key inside! I would definitely consider staying at the Arrowood Court again. Great Location & Hospitality

I only spent a few nights at this B&B but it was a wonderfully quiet place to relax amidst the hectic energy of Bethesda. My host was very friendly, kind and made me feel more like a friend than a guest. I'd recommend this location to any and all visitors!

If you want to relax from your busy visits of downtown Bethesda or Washington D.C., or are on short-term visits to NIH or other organisations, this is an ideal place to find the quiet atmoshere you deserve. Located in plein nature in a neighborhood of wonderful parklike mansions you wake up in the morning hearing the birds singing which makes you enjoy your breakfast even more. Very friendly innkeepers, outstanding service.

Michael's friendliness is outshone by nobody. He even picked me up and took me to NIH because I had no car and nobody to pick me up. He had a room for us when nobody else did and he made me feel comfortable right away. I slept very well and felt safe.

Michael is a very gracious and friendly host. The house is beautiful and spacious and the yard with it's many decks and small creek is amazing. I felt very comfortable there and was thrilled I'd found Arrowood Court.

My friend stayed here for six nights and he enjoyed his stay thoroughly. The owner is extremely friendly and goes out of the way to help the guests. His hospitality is outstanding. The B&B is located in a very calm and peaceful neighborhood away from the noise of automobile traffic. The guests have an option of going for a long walk through residential neighborhood.
