My wife and I found Studio Vriens on the internet. We met cousins in Amsterdam who stayed in a nearby hotel. We paid less than they did and had an apartment as opposed to their smallish room. Great restaurants just across the canal. Great location for the museums. Great service from our landlady. Comfortable twins made into a king size bed. I highly recommend Studio Vriens IF you have a car (we didn't) , parking would be tricky and expensive.

My family spent a week here for our spring vacation. It was delightful! Not too fancy, just a cozy and comfortable apartment for a pair of friends, a couple or a small family. And it has a lift! We cooked several meals in the ample kitchen, and enjoyed the view across the rooftops of the Canal district. The location is superb, within easy walking distance of tram stops and shopping, and Jannie is a GREAT hostess!
