The view from our private balcony was truly breath-taking. The serene environment was very relaxing. The service was great. The inn is also close to the historic area, nice restaurants, and other attractions. Few things which could be better are having wider table in the room to accommodate the usage of laptop, step stool for the high poster bed, and an intercom to contact the front desk. While the concept behind the inn is supposed to be "country," things could be convenient for the customers. Overall, the experience was great. I am definitely going back!

Very relaxing, quite and close to everything I wanted to do. Breakfast was just like home. Thank You, I will be back!

I stayed at gruene river inn over the Christmas holidays, it was decorated so nice, great for background for pictures, its walking distance of shopping, and you wake up to a great selections of breakfest items, the people that work there are eager to help you with any of your needs, you can tell they take great pride in the service they offer to their guest, I plan to stay there when ever I am in Gruene.
