My wife and I visited a friend in Grand Junction and had the pleasure to stay at the Willow Pond Bed and Breakfast. Laurie and David made us feel welcome the minute we walked through the door. We were lucky to be able to stay in two rooms during our stay, the Bella Donna and the Coral Room. Both rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts that Laurie made were delicious. We hope to go back the next time we are in Grand Juction.

The garden is just lovely and peaceful - a great spot for lingering long after breakfast or in the evening with a good book. Laurie also made delicious breakfasts both gluten-free and vegetarian. A gracious place to stay!

My wife and I stayed in the Bella Donna room celebrating our 28th anniversary. The room was spacious and bright with a large window overlooking the grounds. The bed was comfortable and the setting was quiet and relaxing. It truly was staying in the country with downtown Grand Junction only minutes away. The breakfast was very good highlighted by the inclusion of local peaches. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The entire experience was excellent. We will visit again.

I needed only one night, but did not want to stay in a roadside motel. This was great. The inn is separate from the home, and so very private for guests. Though very close to town, its setting is genuinely rural.

We stayed in the Coral Room (the smallest) and didn't mind the detached bathroom because it felt like we were in our own house! One other couple was staying there when we did, and we saw them once. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the house and yard are awesome. We ate breakfast ?(which was delicious and pretty) alone on the patio and watched baby birds in a little bird house they have. It was so relaxed and comfy, it was hard to camp the next night! Stay here if you're in Grand Junction!

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to have visited many places and what a surprise to discover this gem in our own home state! The room was clean, clean, clean! I am a clean freak ~ this is cleaner than a Ritz! The hosts were warm and friendly and the breakfast was scrumptious. There are so many fun things to do in and around Grand Junction - hiking, biking, wine tasting, art. This is a don't miss experience. If you are coming from Denver it is a gorgeous drive as well. A fabulous location for a wedding, honeymoon, anniversary or just a get away. And as an added bonus my dollars can be spent at a small business instead of at a giant corporate behemoth hotel chain (ick). Thanks again!

I was in town for a track meet- and my husband and I decided to stay at the BandB instead of a stail hotel-- great decision! You have a beautiful home and it was nice to be in a part of Grand Junction that I had never seen before. I look forward to coming back with a couple friends for a girls getaway!

What a delight! The inn is in a rural area that is nevertheless just five minutes from the town center and the Interstate. The interior is utterly charming and very clean. We stayed in the Coral Rose, which is small but cozy and just right for two people on a budget. The innkeepers are friendly, good people who were very willing to accommodate our schedule with arrival and meals. Breakfasts were large, varied, and delicious. There were always snacks and a fridge full of drinks. Every touch was perfectly suited to evoke the warmth of home and history. For the same price as a motel, we got a very memorable experience. If I had to make a suggestion, I would say that the towels were a little worn and could stand to be replaced. But that would be unnecessarily nit-picky because this was really a treasure. I will never stay anywhere else in Grand Junction!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your review! Thank you for the feed back about the towels, we were surprised by your comment, since we just purchased this particular batch of towels for the Coral Rose Room less than two months ago! We have had many compliments on how soft and fluffy they are and requests for our brand of fabric softener. We will be inspecting the towels again to make sure they are up to snuff!! Thank you again for visiting Willow Pond and for taking the time to post a very kind review!

The Willow Pond is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms were welcoming, relaxing and luxurious without being overly girly. There was ample room for our family of four. The food was elegant and delicious. It was a great place to stay after a long drive and we found it close to the places we wanted to visit in Grand Junction. David and Laurie have created a gem of a B & B and we have seen many. Don't miss it!

I have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before. I was blown away at the hospitality and coziness of Willow Pond. It was a great first time experience. I plan on staying at a B&B in the future rather than the ol' hotel.

We planned a girls trip to Grand Junction and were so happy we chose Willow Pond! The Bella Donna was a perfect room for the 4 of us with plenty of space and comfort. If you ever make it to Willow Pond during peach season, be sure to request the peach scones for breakfast...they were awesome! As was the rest of our breakfast, beautifully presented and delicious!

Grand Junction, CO really is a grand junction. It is on the way to east and west and north & south. We happened to pass through on our way from California to Crested Butte, CO and made the decision to overnight at Willow Pond B & B. What a happy choice! It was perfect in every way! The location was quiet yet very close to the charming downtown area. The grounds were peaceful, the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated (our en suite bathroom had a jacuzzi tub). The breakfast tasted as good as the pictures on the website looked and David and Laurie couldn't have been nicer, more hospitable, or more helpful about their place and what to see in Grand Junction. We were a bit sad we were only staying there one night and will definitely stay there again on future road trips.
