My fiance and I had a wonderful weekend getaway in Gettysburg. Passages Inn was the perfect Bed and Breakfast for our stay! The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the house was perfectly located in the center of town, just a short walk from downtown gift shops and museums.

had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Passages Inn in Gettysburg, PA. Paulette and Gary were so hospitable. It is very convenient - just a couple of blocks from the center of town. I was in the Africa Room, which was beautiful - with even a crackling fireplace - and even though the bathroom for this room was just around the corner, it was no problem at all and it was the bathroom for just this room. The breakfasts were out of this world and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I would not hesitate to stay there again and, in fact, the next time I go I'm hoping to bring some friends with me.

My husband & I travel to Gettysburg several times during the year, and have stayed at several B&Bs. This past Wednesday I made last minute reservations to stay Saturday-Monday. Passages was reccomended and we booked a room. Even though we are frequent visitors to Gettysburg, I was not familiar with the Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gary, who could not have been more gracious even with our very late check in. When I say that out of all our past stays in Gettysburg this was absolutly the most pleasant! Paulette and Gary make you feel right at home, like you are visiting with old friends. The breakfasts are out of this world and the atmosphere could not be more inviting! I sincerely hope that when we make reservations from now on there will be room for us at Passages!

The Passags Inn Gettysburg was a wonderful weekend get-away. The location of the B&B is wonderful. It is close to the "main" square, so very easy to walk to and from the B&B. Private parking in the back of the B&B. The B&B is decorately very nicely and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfasts were very tasty and the conversation after the breakfasts was most enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Gettysburg.

We came to Gettysburg for a few days on vacation and decided to try a B & B. We had never stayed at a B & B before, so we did some research online to choose one that would give us a good first experience. After reading the good reviews on the Passages Inn, we decided to give it a try. The Passages Inn is very conveniently located in the historic part of town, which was key for us. Paulette and Gary are superb hosts, their inn is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. After a long day out sightseeing, we felt like we were coming home each night. Paulette's breakfasts are extrordinary, we couldn't wait to sit down for breakfast and see what tempting delicacies she cooked up! Paulette was very accommodating with breakfast since I have some dietary issues. They have a comfortable library (which I made use of when my hubby wanted to walk through the cemetary and I didn't), A lovely retreat. They are both very friendly people and we enjoyed visiting with them. We highly recommend the Passages Inn if you are looking for a great B & B!!

This was a lovely and comfortable inn. It's small, three rooms, and well kept and clean. Our hosts, Paulette and Gary, were helpful in recommending places to see and other restaurants to try in the area. They did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Breakfasts were delicious, and the coffee was outstanding. Our room, the Australasia, was roomy and comfortable and well taken care of. This was our first stay at a B&B, and we will definitely check out a B&B first whenever we travel.

This was our first B&B stay, and we loved it. Paulette was very nice and informative with directions and things to do, the room and house was interesting with the different themes (we stayed in Austrailasia), and the breakfast was wonderful. We would recommend this to friends.

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful 3 night stay at The Passages Inn. Hosts Paulette and Gary were most gracious and charming. We found the Australasia room to be very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts to be creative and delicious. Passages Inn is within walking distance of most historic sites and restaurants in downtown Gettysburg and is only a 5-10 minute drive to the beautiful Visitor Center near the battlefield.

This was a Mom and daughters weekend. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds. They were the most comfortable of any of the B & B's we have been to and we have been to many! Our party stayed in the Africa and European rooms. These two rooms interconnect and that is one of the "drawing cards" for any B & B we choose.

My husband and I stayed in the Africa Room and we were VERY Pleased and will certainly return again. My husband and I had a very nice/insightful conversation and felt very comfortable sharing some of our personal experiences with both Gary and Paulette. The house was very cultural and we actually felt as if we were on a far away trip, yet close to home. We referred to the Passages Inn as" Home" and are looking forward to returning Soon! Passages Inn is perfectly located walking distance from the center of Gettysburg, so once you have arrived, you can leave your car behind and get out and stretch. The owners are wonderful. Paulette is a great and creative chef. Our breakfast was savory and just what we wanted. We would definitely go back. :)

My husband and I have just returned from a beautiful weekend at Passages Inn! What a great pick for our first trip to Gettysburg, or for that matter even if it had been for our 50th trip there!! It was a perfect choice! From the gracious treatment of our hosts to the cozy elegance of the Africa room to the delicious (and fun!) gourmet breakfasts with the other guests (you know who you are--great meeting you!!) ---it was the perfect getaway that we had hoped for! Everything added up for a trip we will long remember-- THE HOSTS- warm, welcoming, helpful, interesting, with great knowledge of the area, and there for you when you needed them; THE INN- clean, spacious, quiet between rooms, beautifully-decorated, great library/reading room with access to a wide variety of books, deeeeelicious gourmet breakfasts served w/fresh fruit (that held us to dinner!) Refrigerator off dining room came in handy, as well, for water, soda, etc... THE LOCATION- safe, secure, within easy walking distance to theatre, restaurants, most attractions; convenient parking in back. We have some wonderful memories of Gettysburg because of Passages Inn! Passages is a wonderful Bed And Breakfast. The European room is very spacious. Paulette goes to great lengths to ensure your comfort. Not only did we have a room that included a very nice private bath, but also we had a wonderful sunroom included. We had full access to the downstairs library and the dining room, which came in handy when we were running late for our tour. The April package included two walking tours; we walked in the steps of Lincoln and toured cemetery hill and the National cemetery with two very knowledgeable guides. The best part of all was the gourmet breakfast that Paulette provided for us each morning. I have never eaten such eaten so many courses for breakfast, and the baked goods were to die for. Not to mention that the coffee was phenomenal (I'm very picky about my coffee). If you don't stay as Passages when in Gettysburg, you're really missing a nice retreat.

My wife and I experienced a lovely week-end at the Inn. Of the available three bed-rooms, we chose the European bed-room. It was very nicely adorned, complete with a spaceous bathroom, a separate "powder room" area, and a sitting/reading room. The breakfasts were professionally, tastefully, and colorfully prepared. We found the Inn centrally located in the heart of local events/activities, touring services, eating establishments, and museums.

My husband I were looking for a quiet and romantic weekend getaway and that is exactly what we found at Passages. Our room was very large and comfortable with a small sunroom and private washroom. There was also a cozy sitting room and games to room available for our use. On top of a great room, the breakfasts were fabulous! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Passages and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay that is within walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants in downtown Gettysburg.

We stayed two nights in the Europe room. It was COMFORTABLE and QUIET. Sunday breakfast is gourmet as advertised. Intimate inn and common spaces, but private, quiet rooms. Walking distance to downtown shops. Innkeepers an A PLUS!
