You will be a short walk or taxi ride to Hyde Park's businesses and restaurants and to The University of Chicago's Oriental Institute Museum, Court Theatre, Smart Museum, and Renaissance Society Museum. And close by are Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Hyde Park Art Center, and the DuSable Museum of African American History.

The neighborhoods surrounding the University of Chicago campus -- like those close to many of the world's great universities -- are extremely diverse and have much to offer visitors. Our B&B is two blocks from the University of Chicago Law School where President Obama once taught, and his Chicago home is 10 blocks away. We understand that guests who have not previously traveled to complex and diverse urban neighborhoods are sometimes uneasy when they first arrive. We can assure visitors that both the B&B and the neighborhood are safe, and in our nine years we have never had any problems. The neighborhoods around the campus are constantly patrolled by both the University of Chicago Police and the City of Chicago Police, which helps to ensure the safety of all our guests. Our location makes us ideal for travelers visiting McCormick Place, Soldier Field, Chicago's Museum Campus, the Art Institute, Millennium Park, the Loop, or the shops on Michigan Avenue. We hope that on your next visit, we can help you discover all that Chicago has to offer.
