Our stay at The Victorian Tudor Inn was delightful. We have stayed at many small Inns over 10 years and we have to say this past weekend was just one of the best. The Inn and Innkeeper was very professional and social. He was helpful in directing us to the best places to eat, and we were surprised at how many this town had. The Inn was so nicely appointmented, like right out of a magazine. This B & B was recommended by friends who loved it when they stayed, and now we will recommend it! And I must mention the breakfast as it was great, the waffles unlike any I have ever had previously. Its the Innkeepers own recipe and he'll even share it.

After staying at over 100 B&Bs, it was sad to have such a bad experience. It started when no one was there when we arrived at the designated check in time. Then the innkeeper said he couldn't have breakfast before 9:30 the next morning because he runs the farmer's market in town. Then, there wasn't even butter for a piece of toast. Also, the kitchen, a public room was a mess. To top it all we paid more here than any where else on our entire trip. Don't know where everyone else stayed that did a review.

What a wonderful gem! Richard is an excellent host and this Inn is fabulous. I have stayed in wonderful hotels and B&Bs across the world, and this is one of the best-appointed that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting! The antiques are amazing! I liked the combination of the Victorian charm and the convenience of the wifi and flat-screen tv, as we could enjoy the past while keeping up with our busy lives. The aforementioned waffles are "to die for". Richard has done a wonderful job providing a truly first-class experience. His knowledge and expertise is apparent throughout the property. We will definitely be back!

I just want to start by saying that the Victorian Tudor Inn is perhaps the most beautiful B & B I have ever stayed at. I've stayed at several over the past 5 years and I haven't found one as breath taking as this. From the decor to the attention to detail throughout the home, you have captured the ultimate feel of relaxation and harmony. Patti and I had an amazing time with you and the other guest's at breakfast, and we felt well rested in the morning! Your hospitality was more than we could of hoped for. Thank you very much for your suggestion on dinner at Zinc's. It was lovely. We hope to return and stay with you in the near future, as the Inn and dinner at Zinc's are on the "to do " list from here on out!

Our family was completely impressed with Richard, the Innkeeper, and his Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the bed & breakfast during the first week of December. Richard did a wonderful job at decorating the grounds and the Inn with holiday decorations throughout. Add with the typical Ohio winter weather outside wonderful memories were made. The Inn is located within a few minutes walk of the historic downtown. And, Richard’s breakfast lived up to the reviews. The waffles are magnificent! While waiting for breakfast, I encourage you to tap Richard’s local knowledge. The Inn has become our new second home when we visit Northern Ohio. I would highly recommend a stay at The Victorian Tudor Inn.

During my father's funeral, my husband and I were fortunate enough to find this quaint, comfortable B&B. The owner, Rick, was wonderful. He cooked us a full, delicious breakfast and was at our beck and call. Don't miss this place. Rooms so clean and comfortable.

WOW, where do I begin! Being 36 years young, its always been a dream to stay in a Bed and Breakfast and I am so thankful it was The Victorian Tudor Inn! The decor is just amazing, each room is set up and makes you feel like you are somewhere magical! Cocktails at 5pm, by the fireplace or on the front porch swing, after strolling beautiful downtown Bellevue, coming back and enjoying the hot tub! This is is my favorite part, breakfast!! Yummo describes the homemade waffles (absolutey to die for!! Dont miss breakfast!), bacon, juices, coffee, fresh muffins, etc. You cant compare this morning experience anywhere! Rick, the owner, has found his niche! You will never find an Inn Keeper so into making your stay the most comfortable and memorable one ever. I guarentee you will not leave without booking your next fairytale stay! Just amazing and I loved every minute!

My boyfriend and I have been traveling traveling for the last two weeks planning our trip based solely on B & B's that look interesting to us. Our stay at The Victorian Tudor Inn has been by far the best and most wonderful stay for us. The amenities, the decor and clearly the service was outstanding. This is truly a unique Inn in an exciting area with many different spots to visit. Richard could not have been more helpful to us and was such a professional Innkeeper. The suites are large and so wonderfully appointed with quite expansive private bathrooms. I loved wearing our spa robe and even bought one as I never felt one so comfortable. It was so clean and had wonderful smells of various different candles. This was the only B & B that provided us a large flatscreen HDTV with so channels, including HBO. We are looking forward to our return trip back to CO as this will be the only Inn that we will stay a second time at.

I had higher expectations of service based on all the reviews. Nothing in the categories offered for rating wowed me. The service reviews built my expectations up so that I was prepared to be swept off my feet, but I wasn’t. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I was explicit in my e-mail that the massage and romance package were a surprise for our 8th anniversary, but while showing my husband and I around, the innkeeper spilled the beans. Afterward, the very nice, plush robe didn't come with slippers as advertised, and it barely fit. It's medium; I'm not. We couldn't adjust the A/C, so I was cold. The house was beautiful, the landscaping was great, the innkeeper was polite, the two-person tub was pleasant, the shampoos and such were classy, the red wine from that package was wonderful, and the waffles were delightful. But that wasn't enough to make up for the snafus and oversight. If you are after atmosphere only, then stay. There's no lack of that.

From the moment we were greated by Rick, the Innkeeper, we felt right at home. We arrived at night and the Inn was magically lit outside displaying all its beauty and the inside smelled lovely and looked grand with special candles and antique lighting. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and so comfortable. The breakfast was a gourmet breakfast with (really) fresh baked, homemade waffles, pure Ohio maple syrup and other choices which are prepared individually to your taste. And served on antique china with candlelight. We were just traveling for some relaxation, but found the Inn to be so romantic with it's various parlors and wonderful and interesting antiques. The Victorian Tudor Inn is without a doubt worth a visit; it has been our best stay at a B & B.

This delightful inn is convenient to Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus where all my friends were coming from, and merits more superlatives than this review can accommodate. But I'll try: it is a magnificent historical property with a magnetic host, and amazing breakfasts. The "amazing", Victorian style rooms, equipped with Jacuzzis couldn't be more comfotable"and Innkeepr Richard Stegman will cater to your every need. Unlike some B&Bs, it has facilities for fun and work: a hot tub room, exercise room, beautiful "hidden" garden area, meeting rooms, business office(fax, printer, computer, etc.) and even a "treat" room stocked with many complimentary refreshments; and an amazing special coffee dispenser offering dozens of different types of coffees and teas: And they taste wonderful! Our stay could not have been better; it seemed like our every desires were attended. The Inn has an amazing decor, tastefully decorated, very cozy, yet spacious. It truly was a place for us to "escape" and get some needed rest and relaxation. The on-site massages were also a nice touch. For anyone needing a relaxful or romantic weekend I strongly recommend a stay at The Victorian Tudor Inn. Thanks Rick for all you did for us.

The Victorian Tudor Inn was an outstanding B & B for us to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The website looked great and the comments were wonderful, so we booked a weekend there and you can us as fans of this amazing Inn. Our suite was large, with beautiful paintings, oriental carpets and a great Victorian bedroom suite (the bed had been converted to a queen and was so comfortable). We had wonderful privacy but the Innkeeper was available to us 24/7. We took one of the Inn's romantic packages and highly recommend it as the flowers, baked goods and the wine were perfect. We were even given Waterford wine glasses with a nice bowl of fruit in an antique sterling bowl. This Inn is first class and we have paid much more for such amenities and services without the comfort or special treatment we got at the Victorian Tudor Inn.

My partner and I recently stayed at this amazing inn as part of a weekend trip to Cedar Point. We had spent the day at the park and were weary when we arrived at the inn around 8:15 that night. Richard (the innkeeper) could not have been more welcoming to us when we arrived. The pictures of the inn on the website DO NOT do the place justice! The home is huge (I believe around 7,000 square feet) and filled with phenomenal antiques. The inn is beautifully appointed - tasteful and elegant without feeling cluttered. The hot tub was just what we needed after an exhausting day riding roller coasters. Our room was stunning and immaculate, and Richard was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He made a scrumptious breakfast for us - the waffles and fresh fruit were out of this world. This was the first time we have stayed in a B&B, and we are hooked! We will definitely recommend the Victorian Tudor Inn to friends and plan to return again ourselves. If you are in the Cedar Point area, forget about staying at the park resorts. Do yourself a favor, and travel a few miles south of Sandusky to this hidden gem. You won't regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Victorian Tudor Inn. It was well worth the cost; we have paid much more for less. It was like we were stepping back in time in high society but with all our modern conveniences. The Innkeeper was cordial and so helpful in planning our schedule, giving recommendations, and making reservations. We spent a lot of time just admiring the wonderful antiques at the Inn. We bombarded Rick with dozens of questions and learned so much from him as he obviously has an extensive knowledge on various antiques. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful we wish you great success.

So far (after dozens of stays at B & B's)The Victorian Tudor Inn has been our best ever. A very relaxing, quiet, and romantic atmosphere. The room, public areas and the grounds, especially the "Hidden Gardens". are beautiful. The ambience was so special and the Innkeeper was gracious and very accommodating. Everything we could possibly want for our stay was there for us ... and then some. The Inn was full the weekend we were there, and all of us discussed how pleased we were with our stay, and even with so many people how quiet and comfortable it still was. Quality is the key word; you could tell the breakfast was prepared with the best products, and even the complimentary soda is in glass bottles. The bed linens were so clean and crisp and again, of high quality. And what wonderful smells there are throughout the house, certainly not stuffy. We are going to make an annual trip here, probably on our anniversary next time.

My husband and I have stayed at numerous B & B's for over 15 years, and the Victorian Tudor Inn is clearly in the top 10%. The Inn is beautiful; the antiques are amazing and everything is set up like a professional interior designer did it, but it was done by the Innkeeper, who has impeccable taste. He has amassed an amazing collection of serious antiques and paintings. He knew how to meet our needs, be sociable, but also provide us our privacy. The breakfast was 4 stars, the Belgium Waffles were certainly the best I have ever eaten, especially topped with the local Ohio maple sryup that is provided. Without a doubt the pictures on their website does not fully convey the unique beauty of this home. This Inn is first class all the way and I can not wait for my return visit.

Happy Holidays at The Victorian Tudor Inn!Foyer and guest entrance. This area is graced with a magnificent Victorian marble top "hall tree" in original and superb condition. The hanging ceiling lamp is a large acorn (the Inn's trademark) designed in the style of Tiffany stain glass and an imported hand woven carpet brought back by the Innkeeper from Belguim.
