The Notleymere is spacious and exciting to explore. The grounds are outstanding, facing the lake with a large porch to enjoy the scenery. Elaborate & historic decor with attention to fun details. Service is extremely pleasant, warm yet not invasive. Very loyal to returning guests.

We travel each year through the Finger Lake area on our way to our vacation spot in Maine, and we stay at a different B&B each time... just for variety... well, not anymore... from now on our choice is the Notleymere....it is a vacation on our way TO and BACK FROM Maine! The innkeeper (BOB) is a delight....Diana is a real PRO and has collected all sorts of treasures to fill their lovely inn. Sitting on the stone patio down by the lake with a book is paradise... This place is a real treat!

There aren't enough adjectives to describe our stay. Bob and Dianna are superb hosts. Our room was well appointed, the breakfasts were delectable, the ambiance of the mansion is heartwarming, and God blessed us with beautiful weather!

We were able to reserve the entire house for a reunion of old friends. The atmosphere is charming, the hosts are gracious and welcoming. The town has a friendly charm, and is beautiful. It was an absolutely perfect weekend.

We stayed for our wedding night and the next night. The rooms are wonderful, from the great beds to the flatscreen TVs. The Inn Keeper (Bob) is welcoming and makes an incredible breakfast. The views are great and location near town is perfect. I am not a B&B person but will go back to the Notleymere for sure. If you are getting married - STAY HERE! For the price, I think the rooms are a very good value. They invested huge amounts into a thoughtful restoration and eclectic decor. Breakfast on the porch is wonderful.

We all know what its like to set expectations before you do anything. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose... Unfortunetly for Notleymere B&B, going into this R&R period my expectations were set high and I don't really know why? I havn't spent one-on-one time with my wife for over 5 years due to young kids. Therefore, just about anything would have been great, but I knew I needed peace and quite with my wife to get reacquainted without any distractions to just enjoy time together again. From our arrival, to our time spent at the Notleymere and departure I have to admit after travelling around the world (years gone by) looking for places to relax, this has been the most enjoyable, romantic, and emotinally flexible place I have ever been. From the century old home, to the rooms, lake, veranda, library, and surrounding area it felt as if I was house sitting a mansion for a King or Queen while they were away. If anybody is looking for a special place to get away from it all and feel like royalty I would suggect to anyone enjoy the serenity of what Notleymere has to offer. We held our wedding at Notleymere recently and it was perfect. All of our guests were able to stay at the B&B and we had the house to ourselves. Bob and Dianna were wonderful hosts and did a fabulous job on our ceremony and the reception. All of our guests said that they had a wonderful time and that it was wonderful.

My stay at this B&B was a mother/daughter getaway and as soon as we pulled into the driveway, we knew that we would have a wonderful time. Our rooms were exquisite, the property (gardens, sitting areas, view of the lake) was a definition of beauty. Our host was an excellent cook, informative and a real gentleman.

We stayed with Bob and Dianna when our daughter graduated from Colgate in May. It was a fantastic location, and the room and food was wonderful! Bob was nice enough to make reservations for us for dinner one night -- and they were both as accomodating as they could be! I highly recommend your stay here -- I love Cazenovia and the surrounding area. If I ever get back to upstate New York, this would be the first place I would call.

Enjoyable and very peaceful. Room was gorgeous and very clean, as was the rest of the mansion. Our host was polite and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plenty. I also enjoyed the fact that there was plenty to do in the area.

We found the inn to be a vivid combination of wonderful lake views, New England charm, wild west character, trendy colors and entertaining, ingenious and creative decor. The breakfasts were yum, yum, yum...outstanding!
