My wife and I just returned from a trip to Chatham, Ma. We spent 3 relaxing days at the Moses Nickerson House. All I can say is that if you want a pricey, extravagant place to stay...this is NOT the place. If you want a clean, comfortable, centrally located inn with reasonable off-season prices, excellant breakfasts and wonderful, knowledgeable hosts...this IS it! We stayed in room 4, which was upstairs with no other guestrooms above, beside or below...very quiet and comfortable. The owners and hosts, Linda and George, made us feel right at home. They greeted us with a short "tour" of their home and treated us like civilized adults without the " Don't go here and don't do that in my house" speech. They were also very willing and available to give great advice on places to eat, see and do. I'm not sure if I will ever return to Chatham in the future but if I do I will definately look up Linda and George at their home, The Moses Nickerson House. All I can say is that Linda and George helped us have a wonderful three nights on Cape Cod!
