Dan and Judy truly know how to pamper their guests. The hot tub suite was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. One word of warning; too not eat too much at dinner because the evening social includes food you do not want to miss!

We stayed at Greencastle Estate for our 31 Wedding Anniversary. From the time we arrived we were treated like "royality" We took advantage of the dinner at the estate, which was extra, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Judy and Dan were great hosts and their children were adorable and added to the charm of the stay. A great place to celebrate a special event!!!!

My wife and I stayed here on a whim after receiving a B&B gift certificate for our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with our choice! There are literally more things to do in the general area than you can do in a 3 day weekend, but truly the best part of your stay will be the B&B itself and the AMAZING hospitality extended by Dan and Judy and their kids. They could not have been nicer and their attention to detail was incredible. The social hour food and drink were wonderful and their fireplace took me back to many old pubs in the English countryside. The breakfast we had was better than any breakfast I've had in any restaurant, and I promise you you will not be able to eat it all no matter how badly you'll want to. We stayed in the "Victoria" room so we could use the hot tub and the room was beautifully appointed and comfortable beyond belief. The hot tub sits up almost on a pedestal and was surrounded by candles. Bath salts, bubble bath, and other luxuries were on hand and Judy even ran the hot water for us while we were enjoying the social hour, so when we were ready to soak it was practically all set already. Chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of bubbly were the icing on the cake, and even at 6'3" I was very comfortable in the tub with my wife. Their kids were scarcely seen but were so cute and funny to talk to I wish we could have visited with them a little more. I promise you that if you stay at this B&B you will NOT be disappointed! I've already told my brother (who gave us the gift certificate) that he and his wife should make this their next B&B destination. Dan and Judy, thanks again for a wonderful visit and give your kids our best!

We stayed at this B&B at the end of a trip up to Gettysburg and a PA winery. We originally were just looking for a place to end the day, but this B&B became by far the best part of an already great trip. The house has a great atmosphere and is wonderfully restored and decorated. The two of us were the only guests that night, but this did not in the least bit keep Judy and Dan from pulling out all the stops for us. Definitely hospitality (pampering even) at its best. Judy's evening snacks and gourmet breakfast were absolutely amazing! I noticed all the other reviewers were 40+ yrs, so, for the sake of perspective, it might be relevant to mention we're a young couple, in our mid-20s. We weren't quite sure what to expect at a countryside B&B, but we had an awesome time. Judy and Dan are great hosts, a very cool/modern couple that had us relaxed in no time; they were a lot of fun to talk with during the evening and breakfast. We certainly hope to make it back, and in the meantime are raving about this place to all our friends.

Some friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. I grew up in PA and have visited many "old stone houses". This over 200 yr old house is a beauty, meticulously restored, and very comfortable. Judy and Dan and their family welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, actually pampered since our group had all the rooms. back to the property: original wide plank floors, high ceilings, original summer cooking fireplace with iron work in a game/reading room with new leather furniture, a working well in the attached log cabin, relaxing large dining room and living room, second floor bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. The outdoor private patio has a large pond, huge maple tree, and is beside a corn field - several plump cats patrol the area although they ignore the guests. Judy's breakfast and evening snacks were wonderful, gourmet quality actually. She previously owned a restaurant, so there are nice touches and nice presentation and plenty to eat. Don't miss the breakfasts! Lots to do in this area: golf, skiing, battlefields, hiking, fishing, fall leaves, antiquing, watching the corn and peaches grow. I loved it and will stay again so my wife can enjoy Greencastle Estate.

This is a historic property built in stages during the 19th and 20th Centuries that the hosts, Judy and Dan, have restored. The rooms were spacious with four poster beds and very comfortable mattresses. Spacious bathrooms. Judy and Dan were pleasant and gracious and their young children added, rather than detracted, from the ambience. The full breakfasts were hot, filling and made with originality and TLC. Don't miss the signature breakfast! We were part of a group that occupied the entire B&B, hence the "evening snack" was rather sumptuous and more than one would expect. The property is quiet, there is a nice open area in the back to congregate as well as a place in the restored barn/event center to watch TV. No TVs in the bedrooms. For my part, I hope to return
