Just returned from Blacksburg/ The International Bed & Breakfast and have to agree with the other reviewers that this is a great place to stay. I brought my dog to the VA Tech veterinary school for surgery and it couldn't have been more conveniently located - just a few blocks from the animal hospital. The children and pets (a very placid standard poodle named Princess, and 2 cats) all behaved as if I was family. The little cat (a Cornish Rex) even came and slept with me and then kept me company the next day while I was getting ready to leave. My being a late sleeper was no problem here. The upstairs room and bath were very clean, comfortable and private. Greg is an engaging conversationalist. Although I didn't need breakfast, they were prepared to accommodate my dietary requests. I would highly recommend staying here the next time you are in Blacksburg. Lorri

My teenage daughter & I stayed at the Inn overnight to tour Va Tech. Gregg & his daughters (and pets) were friendly, gracious, & accommodating. Our suite was immaculate, private, comfortable & warm. We felt like we were staying with friends, even though we had only just met when we arrived from Yorktown. I would reccommend your Inn to anyone coming to the Blacksburg area. Thank you.

Gregg was an accommodating host, the location is easy to find and only a short drive or walk to downtown. On-street, overnight parking. A nice room with private bath. Delightful family.

I was a guest of Gregg and Lili's in late July of 2007. I had returned to Blacksburg to defend my dissertation after years of being away. I was grateful to have incredibly comfortable and clean accommodations, and I greatly appreciated the company, the converstation, and the highly personalized service. Gregg and Lili were incredible hosts...at my husband's request, they had purchased roses and printed out an email card from my family; both were waiting for me when I returned from my defense! Thank you for making my stay a pleasantly memorable experience!

We loved our stay here. Among the reasons: -- fantastic hosts. Gregg and Lili were gracious, thoughtful, low-key and erudite conversationalists to boot. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we came in the door. -- comfortable guest quarters. Very private, with a sitting room, bedroom and bath. We loved the sunny sitting room and comfortable couch, the bed was perfect, the water pressure in the shower great. -- free wireless access -- a great location. We walked to everything on campus and off, and couldn't ask for better scenery for our rambles. We are absolutely planning on staying here again when we return to Blacksburg!

The "suite" was beautiful! VERY clean, plush bedding, beautifully decorated. Suite had a refrigerator, huge plasma cable TV, dvd player, private bathroom with shower, lovely sitting room, and wireless internet is available. The family is very warm and the animals are all well behaved and very sweet. We didn't stay for breakfast, but coffee and banana bread was available. My daughter and I had a great visit.

As our first experience with B&B's, we were impressed! Our suite was quiet, private, and had amenities not mentioned on the website(hi-speed internet, select comfort control bed, cable, etc). Lili and Gregg were very accomidating and interesting to talk to. Many options for breakfast and catered to our dietary requests. Their dogs were very well behaved- they did not bark or jump up! Walking distance to VTech on quiet road. Ideal for biking and hiking. Highly Recomended. We had a great time and will visit again.

My husband and I stayed here for a day/night, and truly enjoyed our stay. Gregg, Lili, and family were extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We had many questions about the area, and they were very knowledgeable about that, too-- where to go for food/fun and info about what Blacksburg is like. I cannot say enough great things about our stay! The "Bedroom" was actually a suite (very nicely appointed) with its own shower/bathroom, tv, and study-- much like an apartment, really. I can imagine this warm, welcoming suite would be excellent for an extended stay, too, since it is somewhat private from the main house. Breakfast was delicious too! Location was very close to VTech's veterinary school, which was extremely convenient for us. What a nice time!
