Devagiri Retreat

Devagiri Retreat is a 40-year-old Coffee Estate and farm run by Hodachalli family. The integrated Homestay within the Coffee Estate offers a peaceful place for holidaying, trekking, partying, and camping.

We are an easy-going and welcoming Indian family and have lived on the property for 40 years.

Our houses are located within the estate and you are absolutely free to define your activities.

We offer good food, travel assistance, pick-up and drop-off services, assistance for trekking & camping.

Tariff is Indian Rupees 1500.00 per person per night. Rates include accommodation, breakfast, and evening tea with snacks. Distance from Bangalore is 240 Kilometres. Bangalore is the capital city of the southern-Indian state of Karnataka.

I liked this place as it is in the middle of a coffee estate. The Pricing is also reasonable. We requested additional service for trekking to Agni Mountains with campfire which was well organised and we were reasonably charged.

The homestay is in the middle of coffee estate and it is green all around. I liked the campfire in the night on the coffee drying yard. Food was good and service was nice. Place is perfect to relax.

Finally, we found a real homestay off from Bangalore.. Food was good and service was nice and we liked it more as it was rainy season and place was green all over. This region is known as "Malnad" in Kannada meaning hilly region. Good one.

This coffee estate really captured my imaginiation how people can improve tourism in India. The hospitality was too good and I wish there are many more places with this service. Value for money.

Real nice place to stay. We rented out Hunters Lodge and stayed for 2 days and had a great time. We had nice food and wide open estate all to ourselves. Ver nice place to have campfire and stargaze.
