We stayed in the Tara suite this time and enjoyed it immensely. We had our children join us this time at the Inn and this suite was perfect. On Sunday, we enjoyed the roasted red pepper and cheese omelettes and they were AWESOME! The food was wonderful and the hospitality was as always, amazing! We will plan to come again in the future. We just returned from our 11th stay at Mongomery Inn. We have stayed in all the suites except the English and Oriental and find all to be far above what one would expect. The attention paid to details, the food, and Yes, above all else the innkeeper, Pam and her family are outstanding !! We cant wait to stay in those last two suites and start all over again. We love you all, Pam !!!

A charming and delightful stay. Exceeded what we had a right to expect. In addition to the flowers and Chocklate covered strawberries in the room as requested, Pam went the extra mile and had some romantic music playing for our anniversary celebration. Very nice!

My husband and I spent the night for his birthday and our annual October trip to Keeneland. The room was fantastic! Breakfast was wonderful! The only rather strange thing to me was that I never met the adult innkeeper. I have stayed at many B&B's and I was disapointed in the fact that the innkeeper's teenage children did all of the socializing with the guests. As a matter of fact the only time I even saw their mother was in the kitchen cooking breakfast and she never even introduced herself! The children were wonderful hosts but it just seemed a little odd to me.

Returning to my hometown of Versailles is always an experience. This was our 3rd stay at the Montgomery Inn. As expected, it was fabulous. We stayed 2 nights in the Victorian suite and it was spacious enough for the entire family. I must admit, having the kids join us this time at the Inn put a damper on the romance of the suite, but we all had a wonderful time. The jacuzzi was heavenly and the kids had a blast in it, too. Pam, Ross & Mikaela did a wonderful job making us feel welcome and we even invited my parents (locals) to join us for breakfast. Pam's breakfast were divine, and my family was very impressed. The eggs benedict with spinach are totally gourmet. Next time we are going to plan to have dinner at the Inn and try one of Pam's famous salads. We would recommend the Montgomery Inn to everyone.

My daughter and I spent three wonderful nights at the Montgomery Inn. Our room was lovely and the jaccuzzi was fantastic. The breakfasts were outstanding as was the dinner we had one evening. Pam is a wonderful baker, and her children are lovely. We will definitely come back here...actually, I wish we were there right now.

My husband and I stayed in the Tara room and were Very Disappointed! The Inn's cats were the most friendly and hospitable but we were pretty much ignored by the inn keeper. The cats were very cold in the Kentucky winter temperatures. They had absolutely no shelter and would come up on the porch to look at their empty food & water dishes and beg to be let inside which is a pitiful sight to anyone who loves animals. No snacks or drinks were provided for us either. The inside of the house was a mess due to remodeling which we were not told about. The room was a total disappointment to us. The water pressure was so bad that it took over an hour to fill the nice jetted tub. The bathroom sinks were in the bedroom itself and the water pressure was very bad there as well. The sheets were poor quality and ill fitting. There was a huge urine stain on the back of the comforter! The bed was as hard as a rock. There was a tiny TV but I have a bigger one in my kitchen! All in all the only good thing was that we were in beautiful Kentucky and the breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Our visit to the "Montgomery Inn" was one of the most wonderful two days and nights that I have ever spent. The atmostspere was so relaxing. The Matthews are some of the best people that you would ever have the plasure of meeting. They were delightful host in ever way. They went out of thier way to make out stay as pleasent as it could be. The ambiance of the home is evident in all areas. the dining is wonderful. I woke up to the smell of sugar cured bacon cooking, the accomidations were luxerious in each suite. This is a Must on any list to visit for anyone who enjoys the Bed and Breakfast accomidations. It is located in a nealty organized city with many speciality shops. Well worth the trip.

Wow great B&B, Pam is the GreatestLoved our stay at the Montgomery Inn, Beautiful large room, and wonderful bath with two person tub and shower with dual showerheads. We stayed in the French room. We arrived early in the afternoon and were greeted by the Inn Keeper Pam. Pam gave us a tour of the Inn and we selected the French Room. The property is located next to open space large grass fields. Pam was informative on local dining and helped us with menus and recommendations. Very large dining area for breakfast and Pam offered to cook us a private dinner for two. The French toast and bacon were great. We loved our stay and wished we had more days to stay longer. We can not wait to return soon.

We were welcomed like family during the most difficult of circumstances (the death of my brother). The hospitality was genuine and overflowing. The rooms were better than any pictures could depict and the food was amazing. Every detail needed for relaxation has been thought of. A must go to for Bed and Breakfst lovers and a very wise decision for those looking for something new. We will be back! Next time to celebrate something though and the memories will make it even sweeter!

My daughter and I visited Versailles to attend a funeral and we stayed 2 nights at the Montgomery Inn. Pam was gracious with our last minute reservation and made us feel completely welcome. Her daughter (Michaela) and son (Ross) were very helpful and sweet. As we arrived early in the day, Michaela gave us a lovely tour of the home. A very nice touch. Each room is so different and has it's own special touch. We stayed in the Maple Suite and it was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the decorations sweet. My daughter really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. There were several nice books in the room as well as travel guides and local attractions and restaurants. The DVD movie selection was wonderful. Our breakfasts were fantastic. One morning we had thick bacon with pancakes with fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas. The other morning we had thick bacon and (out of this world) French Toast with an amazing cream cheese nutty spread. Pam's cooking is fabulous. As I grew up in Versailles, on our next visit we plan to invite the family over to enjoy Pam's dinner. We can't wait to return. I am now able to fully appreciate the charm of such a lovely town that I grew up in . Funny how you don't realize until you move away.

We recently stayed at the Montgomery Inn B&B and found Pam & Mike, the Innkeepers (and their son Ross), to be most hospitable and always there to answer questions. They made us feel like we were visiting old friends. The B&B itself was wonderful--clean rooms, ample space, comfy beds--a great place to stay. Our room was restful and had all the creature comforts of home. Pam's home cooking should be in the reviews. Presentation, freshness, quality, flavor--all 4-star! If ever there was a place to return to, this is it ... and, we will.

I went to Montgomery Inn to recover my sanity as I tried to make sence of my life due to the recent death of my husband. I stayed two days by myself and discovered that Pam and family were very devoted to their guests every request and every comfort. I was jointed on the third day by a group of 20 friends from Kenova United Methodist Church, Kenova, WV and we were to leave for home on Monday. The group enjoyed Pam's wonderful Breakfast and Dinner, celebrated Rob and Robyn's 25th wedding, fellowship around an outdoor, and playing board games. We all went to "shop" and "eat" before we headed home and I decided at the last minute to return to the Inn and stay another night. I was very fortunate that I had the privelege of staying in three different rooms at the Inn and they were all "Extremely" comfortable, charming and most of all very clean. This is a great place to relax, explore, shop and refresh your mind, body and spirit. Pam and family are exceptional Inn Keepers, very personable and accomodating.

In May we will be spending our sixth night at the Inn (which will be our 25th Anniversary)We have stayed there 3 nights before Pam took over - it is no comparison to the time we have spent there since. She and the family are great! the hospitality, THE FOOD, and atmosphere are outstanding! This is our special place to get away! We even recommended it to a group from our church and have the whole house booked in May! Cant wait!!
