The rooms are good and the location is perfect for visiting the wineries. You cant beat the price. But the best part of our stay was breakfast with Dave. We found ourselves just sitting at the table listening to his stories every morning.

Our room had a double bed with our bathroom being across the hall which was no problem. Both were extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with an abundance of fresh pastry from a local bakery and fresh fruit. Eggs were available if desired. We were up from Virginia for a family reunion in Southampton, eighteen miles and a half hour away.The rate for two nights was what one night in the Hamptons would have cost us.

This was our 2nd year at the Farm and it outdid the 1st! Dave goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. Being born & raised on LI and now living out of State, the farm makes visiting friends & family easy. We are now trying to work out coming in the fall next time to take advantage of the colors, fishing and abundant produce. Locally homemade croissants, custard filled donuts, bagels, fresh in season fruit and plenty of coffee are a nice breakfast surprise. A big thanks to Dave!

It is not easy to find a B&B a few minutes outside Riverhead, close enough but not too close to the highway, near numerous farm stands and herb and garden centers, and within a few minutes of the beach, attractions and many wineries, and at a reasonable price. Oh - and a generous breakfast of fresh, local fruit, bagels, and baked goods are included. The Farm B&B is rustic. The peonies were aplenty. The horses are retired, but still kicking, literally - and they pose well for photos. (We did not ride.) Dave is a competent and attentive host who likes to strike up conversation and truly seems to enjoy having others around.

A great place to stay. Wonderful view from the dining room of woodland and wildlife. A really interesting host (the owner) who shared his enthusiasms with us for horses, running the farm, education and his Long Island community. We particularly enjoyed a tour of the farm, seeing his peony enterprise and the trailer he takes down to Florida. Far far better than staying in a hotel or an inn. A really enjoyable two days. .......but it ended up being about the warm and welcoming hospitality we received from Dave the owner of this lovely bed and breakfast we stayed at this weekend.The house was perfect and Dave made us a lovely breakfast of all fresh fruit and fresh baked goods. We enjoyed Daves company and all the wonderful stories he told us, especially the twin colts he help deliver and had to care for one of the baby colt's in his home. It was so much fun to stay on a REAL FARM!!! You made it easy to stay and get into it. The horses are so gentle and your expertise is amazing. I loved to newly renovated rooms and thanks for the upgrade! I can't wait till my next time off to come back, this time with friends!. You are so close to everything. We stayed at The Farm for 3 nights in Oct. The room on the 1st floor was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The Innkeeper was very accomodating and planned breakfast at whatever time was convenient for us. The breakfast was fresh daily rolls, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit (pineapple, melon, grapefruit) coffee, juice. The innkeeper would only brew the coffee until after we arrived for breakfast to insure its freshness. It is a working farm so it is not overly ornate or fancy but for us it was a great value and very comfortable.

What made my stay warm and welcoming was Dave the owner. A hard working elderly gentle man with a love for horses and a kindness that is so endearing. The house was built in the late 1800's and has been well mantained, the rooms have a rustic charm with modern ameneties for your weekend stay. The breakfast included pastries, bagels, croissants and local fruit. There are several wineries in the area along with local farm stands and 15 min drive to the Tanger Outlets. Thanks to Dave and The Farm I discovered another part of Long Island to love.
