Hotel is at intersection of Cromwell Rd and Queens gate. Rooms facing outside would be noisy from traffic. Originally had a room in the basement, but clerk upgraded us to one on 1st floor facing courtyard. The room was quiet and clean, but a bit worn. Good value though for the price. Better than Imperial College dorms. Don't expect luxury at this price in central London. Location is next to natural history, science,V&A museums and Imperial College, close to Hyde park, and 15 min walk from Harrod's. GPB 65-70 for a double room was cheaper than other hotels in the region. Two continental breakfast was included with this booking. Otherwise overpriced at GPB6/person. Selection was bread/buns, butter, cheese, jam, yoghurt, cereal/muesli, coffee and tea. All acceptable except jam was mostly sugar and little fruit.
