During my first visit to the Cape, I stayed at Christopher's. What a wonderful experience! The location is perfect - close to art galleries, the ocean, and excellent restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The innkeepers are wonderful and hospitable! Breakfasts were delicious and included amazing homemade breads, muffins, and fresh fruit. I would definitely stay at Christopher's again, and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Cape!

I have stayed with Jim and Dave at Christopher's by the Bay several times now, and I keep returning not just because of (a) Jim's warm conversation and Dave's chocolate chip muffins in the garden each morning; not just because (b) the house is quiet and cozy and impeccably clean; not just because, (c) located as it is in between the bustling West and artsy East Ends (but away from town hall and the pier), Christopher's is the perfect home base for a trip to Provincetown; and not just because, (d) at these prices, the place is a steal. The real answer is (e) all of the above. If you're looking for the best in a Cape Cod bed and breakfast experience, this is it.

Planned a week away at Christopher's but then decided to get married in Mass while there (after 16 years together!) Jim & Dave helped pull a ceremony together in the parlor room (we would have used the lovely garden but it was raining.) Great service and a warm feeling to the place. We've been there before and will certainly be returning in the near future. Conveniently located near the Art district but a short walk to the bars & clubs. They are pet-friendly as well so we could bring our 2 IGs along and they participated in the wedding as well. We'll be back soon.

I wasn’t a B&B person until I stayed at Christopher’s by the Bay. We have stayed with Jim and Dave four times, for about eight nights every year, and it always feels so comfortable, that I would plan on spending my honeymoon there. Their location between the busy commercial area and the quieter art galleries is perfect. The whole house feels so welcoming; with fresh and clean spacious rooms, cozy living-room with lots of reading material, and the back patio is a quiet place to relax, as also to meet new friends. I care about breakfast, and I am always impressed by the variety of fruits, bagels, pastries, and some special dishes that they prepare on week-ends. These guys are so nice; I won’t ever forget finding a bottle of wine in our room as their birthday present, once we spent a weekend at Christopher's by the Bay on that occasion.

We loved our weekend stay at Christopher’s by The Bay! We were instantly impressed with the overall appearance of this beautiful Victorian house. The inn is very well maintained and exudes a warmth and cozy charm. Our room was nicely decorated and clean; and I was especially pleased with the comfort of our bed (I usually don’t sleep well when I travel, but slept like a baby in Ptown). The location is another perk. It is close to town and we were able to walk to many of the great shops, historical sites, and restaurants. Every morning, a continental breakfast was provided and it was perfect. There were several newspapers to read, and Dave made a great batch of banana nut muffins. Most important, the coffee was fresh and hot! Our overall experience went above and beyond our expectations and this is largely due to the hospitality of the innkeepers, Jim and Dave. They are terrific people, who go out of their way to make you feel at home and help make your Ptown visit enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to returning in the Spring and we will definitely be staying at CBTB!

From the moment you walk in the door, Jim & Dave, the outstanding guys who run Christopher's give you a warm welcome. They are genuinely interested in making their guests' stay a great experience. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and comfortable. I had a separate bath to myself, which was huge. The room had it's own sitting area, and I had my own little fridge in the bathroom. The smell of fresh baked goods fills the house a couple of times a day. The back patio is a very pleasant place (even in November) to sit and read or socialize. The other guests were cool, a range of men and women from all over. If you mention Christopher's to people in town, everyone seems to know and like Jim & Dave. And it's no wonder, they're great guys! I'll definitely stay at Christopher's whenever I come to Provincetown — if there's a room available!

I have stayed at Christopher's By the Bay several times now. One word I keep coming back to, to describe Christopher's By The Bay is "comfortable". From the owner's hospitality to the quiet location to the clean, tastefully decorated rooms (but yet close to Commercial St and the beaches) this B&B is the best deal in Ptown. I will be back. Highly Recommended.

I recently stayed at Christopher's by the Bay for a weekend getaway in Ptown. Given my short stay, owners Jim and Dave did a great job of making me feel at home right away. Their hospitality was generous, but not at all intrusive. The room was clean and well appointed--with a view of the harbor worth three times the price! (It was extremely reasonable, too--smaller, to be sure, but this is a guest house, not the Four Seasons.) The location was nearly perfect, quiet and steps from the heart of town. There was a relaxed, friendly feeling among the other guests, as though we were gathered in the home of mutual friends--which, by the end of the weekend, we were. I've stayed in all sorts of inns in Provincetown over the years, but for my next trip I'm definitely calling Christopher's first PS--If Dave's baking in the morning, don't miss his muffins!

A visit to Provincetown can often mean an action-packed whirlwind of activities, and a very memorable visit to one of the world’s premier gay resort towns. A stay at Jim and Dave’s charming and peaceful guesthouse, Christopher’s by the Bay, provides the perfect oasis to rest, relax, and complete the picture of a perfect vacation. Nothing quite equals the cozy charm of a New England Bed and Breakfast. Christopher’s by the Bay will surely not disappoint the critical traveler. The owner’s Jim and Dave will provide a gracious welcome to their quiet, fun, and dignified home. The accommodations are clean and appointed with phone, television, and air conditioning. A continental breakfast is served daily with a breadth of selections. The common areas provide a comfortable place to meet and socialize with fellow guests. During the fall and winter off season, a warm fireplace, and a glass of wine just complete the picture of a relaxing long weekend away from the hustle of city life. Christopher’s by the Bay is located within a short walking distance to all Commercial Street activities, so after relaxing at the guest house, you have easy access to all the fun that Provincetown provides to travelers from all over the world. While my stay was during the off season, as a regular Provincetown visitor I can easily see the advantages of this guest house's location. Whether it is going to the beach, lounging by a nearby pool, browsing through art galleries, admiring the street life, shopping your heart out, getting down with the night life, or just basking in the freedom and diversity Provincetown has to offer to all. I would surely recommend this guest house as a compliment to a fun-filled vacation.

We loved our honeymoon stay here at Christopher's. Fantastic! Jim and Dave and their sweet pups are great. The outdoor patio is luscious. The breakfast is also wonderful. It's very close to all the nightlife in Provincetown, and the innkeepers will help you find fun places to go. We highly recommend Christopher's by the Bay.
