Simply put, this was exactly what we wanted. A quiet weekend getaway, in a very comfy and cozy old house with every luxury we wanted. Friendly, and helpful. The house was beautiful, clean and so so relaxing. The breakfast was perfect and very plentiful. Highly recommend.

My wife and I spent our anniversary in Jefferson and stayed with Bob and Pam at the Delta Street Inn B&B. The inn is charming, the grounds are immaculate and our room was warm and inviting. We especially enjoyed our deck/balcony. Our hosts were top notch experienced inn keepers who truely love what they do. Bob always kept our coffee mugs full and each and every breakfast was a masterpiece. We will definitly stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to this charming little town. This is the 2nd time staying with Delta Street Inn and will always continue to come back. The rooms are superb and the service is the best I have ever had at a B&B. Finding a good place to stay when traveling can be a crap-shoot; we hit the jackpot with Delta Street Inn. We felt comfortable in every way. Local restaurants were unique and served excellent food. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because the local trains toot their horns at odd hours.

We decided that we needed to get away from the rut of daily life for a couple of days and I found the Delta St. Inn on the internet. All of the reviews were so good it was really almost too good to be true. They definitely TRUE!!! Bob and Pam are such warm friendly people and make you feel so comfortable and like part of their family. The home is absolutely beautiful and the rooms so private and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We will be returning to Delta St. Inn again and recommend it to anyone who is looking to get away and relax in the simple life for a few days.

This was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast. We give Delta Inn an A+++++++++++. Our room was very nice with a private balcony, king size bed, ceiling fan and an individual A/C control. The breakfast was very good. Pam and Bob are very friendly and make you feel very welcomed. It made our 34th anniversary perfect!

Pam and Bob were extremely gracious and helpful throughout our stay. The house is a very well preserved example of 1920s architecture - very simple and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and Pam and Bob are always there to advise you on local attractions. Our room had a huge balcony overlooking the side yard and gazebo. I hesitated to stay in a B&B but I won't again if they are anything like the Delta St. Our room was wonderful. We enjoyed the huge private balcony both in the mornings and in the evenings. The trees and the well kept lawn were a beautiful sight for city folks. I loved the air conditioning. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The breakfast each morning was very good and plenty of it. Bob and Pam are great hosts and easy to talk to. Bob gives great directions to the things to do around Jefferson.

Our recent three-night stay at Delta Street Inn was delightful. The home was old enough to be interesting, but modern enough to be comfortable. Decor was simple and in keeping with the 1920's era. The location is excellent - a dead-end street with lots of parking space. Our room was immaculate. Plenty of hot water for showers, which has not always been the case at other places we have stayed. Breakfasts were wonderful; food delicious, conversation with gracious hosts Bob and Pam and other guests lively and enjoyable. We will certainly stay again when the opportunity arises.

We stayed in the room on the second floor facing the gazebo. It was very quiet and tranquil. There is sun during the day and shade in the evening. The breakfasts are always great as well as Bob and Pam. They are knowledgable and great inn keepers. We are planning to go back very soon. Make sure to go to Auntie Skinners or the Hamburger Place.

We spent two nights at the Delta Street Inn recently. The inn is beautiful, inside and out. A sign at the front door reads, "Welcome to the Simple Life." That is just what we found--a comfortable, restful room; a spacious balcony where we enjoyed coffee in the morning; a front porch overlooking a beautiful garden, where we sat in rocking chairs and did Bible study; a game room where we played Scrabble in the evening; delightful conversations with the innkeepers, Pam and Bob Thomas, and their dog Heidi; and talking with other guests over delicious breakfasts. We go to Jefferson, Texas often, and this was the first time we had stayed at the Delta Street Inn. It will be our first choice for all future trips to Jefferson.

My wife and I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast until our recent trip to Jefferson, TX to stay at the Delta Street Inn with Pam and Bob Thomas. A big part of the charm of this inn was the personal attention of Pam and Bob. It feels like we have some new friends in East Texas. The accomodations were excellent, the breakfasts were quite tasty and the recommendations from Bob for what to see and where to eat were spot on. It might seem to be an overstatement for a first time experience, but I cannot imagine how we could have picked a better place to stay. By the way, we plan to return this fall!

Pam & Bob were wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful, and the cooking is out of this world! They took care of all our reservations for dinner, massages and the carriage ride. They thought of everything, even the littlest details. The room was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. We will definately return. We chose Delta Street Inn for our elopement wedding and honeymoon and could not have been happier with our choice! Pam and Bob made all the arrangements for our wedding and it was perfect in every way, a wonderfully romantic day to remember always. Pam did a beautiful job of taking pictures for us too! The house is spacious and beautifully restored, our room was cheerful and comfortable, the bathroom was large and nicely done, and we loved our private balcony. Breakfasts were delicious too! Pam and Bob took care of our "Leap Year" wedding with no stress for us. Pam had the minister, flowers, cake, bubbly, dinner reservations and a carriage ride set up for us with no problems. The gazebo was a beautiful site for the wedding. The room was very romantic with its own fireplace and private balcony. I cannot say enough good things about the Delta Street Inn.
