Where can one stay at a vineyard an hour and a half from Charlotte? When i woke up in the morning I thought I was staying at a B&B outside fo Florence, Italy. The owners made us feel like family -- great service and great food! Close to Asheville, kayaking & more.

We had our family vacation/wedding in a campground at Lake Lure, with 18 members of our families in tow, so, we ran off, just the two of us, after the wedding ,to the Greenriver BB, it was spectacular! The views from our "Penthouse Suite" were incredible! Peggy and Claude were just as hospitable and sweet as could be. We will definitely be returning for anniversaries and any other occasion we can get away!

Fantastic hosts, views, food. We enjoyed our 'down time' in the rocking chairs listening to the birds and seeing the sunset. It was fun to sit and share experiences. The doggie is a sweetheart!

The amenities, the location, the breakfast, everything was wonderful. You get more staying here than in any luxury resort. There is so much to do and see in a beautiful setting. We stayed one night but wished we could stay for a week. Peggy and Claude show incredible, courteous hospitality.

We just got back from a much needed weekend away to the Green River Vineyard and B&B. This place was beautiful! The mountain views, the vineyards, Peggy and Claude's flowers, the hospitality, and everything else exceeded our expectations. We were able to stay in their new third room and it was so nice. It was very private with its own small deck to take in the views. The room had beautiful linens, soft towels, comfy robes, satellite tv, WIFI, and a small kitchenette. I had Lori, a local massuese, come to the bed and breakfast and give me a massage in the outdoor courtyard-Heaven!! We really enjoyed talking to Peggy and Claude, they were so accomodating. We'll be back.

Fantastic time - couldn't have been better!

From the setting of a beautiful, romantic vineyard to the scenery of the blue ridge mountains in the distance, this Inn is just the best! The rooms and common rooms are cozy and charming, the ambience is inspiring and the food is absolutely sensational! What makes it all a fantastic experience though are the Innkeepers, Peggy and Claude. They are warm and friendly and still give give everyone their privacy. I consider them good friends and they were wonderful about catering to our needs. Thank you Peggy and Claude for going beyond the call of a great Inn!

This was our first time at a Bed a Breakfast, so we didn't know what to expect. We had such an amazing time! Peggy and Claude were absolutely wonderful, as was the food! Beautiful views, wonderful hospitality, a perfect spot for any occasion. There is so much to do there you don't even have to leave! We are already planning our next trip there! It quickly became our new getaway spot!

From the second we arrived we knew we had found a jewel! From the amazing French Toast, the mountain vistas in the outdoor spa, the beautiful grounds including the Green River, we had it all and loved every thing about our stay!
