My husband and I recently stayed at Hacienda las Barrancas and it was an excellent experience. The owners were helpful, attentive but unobtrusive. The gluten free food was fabulous and Emily was also able to accommodate my dairy free needs as well. It was very clean and chemical free. This B&B is a godsend for those of us with allergies. The location was also very convenient to many sights in the area and the hosts were also excellent resources.

This was my second visit to Hacienda Las Barrancas and I was as expected, impressed to say the least. It appears that Tim & Emily continue to make improvements to what seemed like an already perfect retreat from the hectic hustle of life at home. I can only wish to posses some of their artistic talents. The breakfast ranks as probably the widest variety of delicious choices any place could offer and together with the outstanding hospitality and knowledge of the area, a stay at Hacienda Las Barrancas is a truly pleasant experience.

Just wanted to say that Tim was exceptionally helpful on the phone when I inquired about a possible stay. The selling feature for us (on this trip) was that one of their rooms allowed for a separate sleeping area for our son. The communal areas were very inviting and comfortable, and the 'service' could not have been better. They were both extremely helpful in helping us plan our days to get the most out of our short trip to New Mexico. We found the location perfect as it was convenient to many things we wanted to do (trips to Santa Fe, Taos, etc.) Did I mention the breakfasts were THE BEST we've ever had at a B&B? Hands down, one of the nicest B&B's we've stayed at.

We spent the most wonderful and relaxing few days at the Hacienda, and it was fabulous. The breakfast was better than any B&B I've ever stayed at, the bed was comfortable, room and bathroom very large, and we had a private entrance out to the terrace. Far enough out of town that it was totally quiet at night, which we appreciated. What a great place, we will definitely be back!

My husband and I just enjoyed a 5-day stay at Hacienda Las Barrancas, and were blown away by how great it was! Our room was so comfortable and we awoke each morning to coffee, tea and juice and delicious muffins or scones and fresh fruit - and THEN Emily prepares our actual breakfast (in other words, bring your appetite for delicious food, in large quantaties). We felt like we were staying with friends who had the most amazing home in the best location, who lived just to give us the serenity that we needed. We'll be back, but next time it will be to once more experience Hacienda Las Barrancas as much as to take in the beauty and culture of this amazing area.

Our stay couldn't have been better. We loved the location and the hacienda itself is homey, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Tim and Emily go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect yet are never intrusive. We got to see and do several things we'd have never known about without their expertise. The breakfasts were exquisite. Thanks for making our getaway perfect!

Our stay was was so relaxed. Tim was available to assist us with anything we needed to know about the area. They have a wonderful library on everything from local events to dining, shopping, driving tours and local parks. The location is quiet and off the beaten path but centrally located to all activities in the mountains from Santa Fe to Taos. Describing our delightful stay would not be complete without mentioning Emily's wonderful breakfasts. We were greeted with fresh baked bread or muffins and then a individually prepared gourmet breakfast each morning. Add to all of this comfortable beds, warm attractive southwestern decorating and we could not have found a better place to stay.

I felt like I was staying with friends. The way they treated us made all the difference. From Emily's local themed cooking and Tim's expert knowledge of the area to the natural beauty of the countryside made our stay different than most of my other B&B experiences. The 2 living rooms were very comfortable and I just wanted to hang out and lounge around. (Just what I needed) The view of the stars at night from the hot tub and the, well, just the atmosphere of the place made me sleep really soundly.
