When planning our vacation to celebrate our 3 year anniversary, I did a lot of research on places to go. We decided on Homosassa, and after viewing the website chose the Blue Moon. My husband, who initially wanted to stay home, and didn't want to look at the website said "Its our anniversary, book wherever you want." As soon as we got to the Blue Moon, my husband said "Wow, this place is really cool." After we checked in Laura showed us around. We stayed in the French room, and they were kind enough to let us check in early. We walked the grounds and my husband took pictures. He told me I did a good job on picking a place and that he really liked it. We went for a kayak trip (they offer free kayak or canoe rentals) and we swam in the springs. We saw a TON of manatees! After a hard day of kayaking (my husband did all the paddling) we relaxed in our private jacuzzi. We had planned to hang out at the fire pit and build a fire, but decided to stay inside and watch some tv in the tv room. They have a very wide variety of movies, but we watched cable instead. In the morning Laura made us a delicious breakfast! We could not have stayed at a more perfect place. We had a wonderful time, the place is beautiful, and Laura is a great cook! We will definitley be back! Hopefully next time we can get some of our friends to go! View Reviewer Info
