A wonderful contrast to the Bed and Breakfast your grandmother stays at. Very modern, decorated with world art, amazing breakfast service and spread. Each room is unique and wonderful- not to mention the beds are comfortable beyond belief! I don't know why you would stay anywhere else.

Owner & Caretaker made us feel right at home! Will be staying again next year! Very clean, good food and wonderful accommodations! Great pricing overall! Our driver dropped us off and we met the caretaker who made us feel like we had known them for years...dropped our bags at the bungalow, grabbed a bottle of fabulous red wine, dropped it in a terra cotta wine pot and hopped in the hot tub after a long journey from the south! The location is minutes from everything! You can even hop the shuttle for free to get around to everything I've stayed at other BB's & never left a review...Folks! This one is worth it!

Arrived very late because of a ferry cancelation and a great suspition from the US customs, the whole inn appeared lighted, and the room doors open to give us a choice. We were invited to visit the fridge, as we couldnot have had dinner on the way. After a very good night, breakfast came delicious, served by a smileful waitress.

My husband & I have been frequenting this lovely Inn for 15 years and never would dream of staying anywhere else when in the Acadia area. Our son & daughter-in-law had their honeymoon here and we come back every year appreciating the privacy, charm, & unique ambience of the Inn. Every breakfast is abundant with fresh fruit, scones,juices, cereals, & a "REAL" cup of coffee in addition to the "dish of the day". We particularly love the out of the way quietness of Southwest Harbor and the Innkeeper always goes out of his way to make us feel welcome and cared for without being intrusive.

Great place to go for quiet. The service is excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is lovely-great presentation and wonderful homemade items. The common rooms have great fireplaces and the bedrooms are very comfortable. We can't wait to return. J and H
