room was very clean the service was great theirs a lot to do in paso robles you cant do it all in one day we enjoyed our stay ,we hope nex time we can stay longer .

We have now stayed with Margot and "Hugo" at the Vine Street Inn 5 times for the annual Paso Robles Wine festival, and have had an outstanding time on each occasion! The rooms are beautiful, well appointed and homey, and Margot's gourmet breakfasts are incredible! However, the best thing about the Inn really is Margot herself. She is such a friendly and welcoming host and is a marvelous conversationalist having lived and traveled all over the world. We will be back again..its like coming home to family. By the way, try the "Pedi cabs" when you're there, to go to and from dinner. You'll be picked up at the Inn and driven to dinner in a bicycle powered cart...very relaxing and romantic!

We celebrated our two year anniversary with Margot, Penny and Hugo and we loved it! Folks, Margot is connected! She got us reservations at one of the nicest restaurants in PR on very last minute notice. She also knows the wineries and they know her! My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing getaway and Margot's lovely B&B was the perfect place. She is incredibly welcoming, and makes her guests feel so cared for. The home is wonderfully located and we walked to dinner every night in town. We truly cannot wait to return.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful weekend in Paso Robles. This was our first B&B experience and it will not be our last. Our innkeeper, Margot Van Horn was worth the trip alone. She is an amazing host, fantastic cook and adorable personality. Not only were our accommodations wonderfully charming, but Margot paid attention to every detail. It was my birthday and she had several "little extras" planned all unsolicited but oh so welcome and thoughtful. We had scrumptious meals and she gave us complimentary coupons to some of the best wineries. My friends who were also staying in Paso were green with envy after seeing and hearing of our experience. Again, just meeting Margot was a treat...but staying with her was like visiting a treasured friend. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, the Vine Street Inn is exactly where you will want to stay. Jasmine Cottage was a wonderful experience, nestled under a gorgeous oak tree. We were welcomed with open arms, delicious food, and a a kind and thoughtful hostess --it felt just like home. The courtyard was spectacular: private, hugged by nature and bustling with birds and just the right mix of sunshine and calming breezes. Mabel, our American Bulldog was taken well care of and she enjoyed the treats and playful garden. The location of the inn is perfect; within walking distance of the downtown square surrounded by a sweet neighborhood. If you want to be catered to and enjoy great company, Vine Street Inn is for you.

If your looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay this is the Inn for you. The farmhouse style Inn is loaded with warmth and charm. The innkeeper Margot was a wonderful hostess and chef as displayed by her gourmet breakfasts. An additional bonus was being next to the downtown area. We were able to site see and dine without ever having to drive or search for parking. Being so close enabled us to come back and rest prior to going back for our evening meal and entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to our return on future getaways! M & C

I have stayed at The Vine Street Inn five times and now I feel like family when I visit. This lovely Victorian sits on beautiful lush grounds with flowers and large old beautiful oak trees. I so enjoyed sitting on the patio in the afternoons visiting with all the guests, munching on the great snacks and wine. Margot is a gracious host and will help you with dining suggestions and winery visits. I just love snuggling down into the comfy soft sheets in the charming cozy rooms. If you want a little extra privacy try the cottage! I enjoyed walking to downtown for a relaxing stroll and window shopping. Love it….will do it again.

Couldn't believe what a great find this was. Easy walks to the best restaurants in town as well as a half-dozen tasting rooms in Downtown Paso. Margot, the innkeeper, is a wonderful hostess and fantastic cook not to mention a heck of a lot of fun to chat with. We stayed in the Tree Top room which was great; clean, comfy and with plenty of space. We also viewed the cottage which also seemed very well appointed and comfy. Breakfasts we're wonderful, gourmet level afffairs, better than most restaurants. We stayed mid-week and the value was phenomenal, the same or less than any other B&B in town yet with such great personal service and quality adornments. I really can't say enough good things about the Inn.

Been here twice; fabulous each time. First stay in Treetop Room. This room was quiet, private and the bed was so comfortable. Second time was Jasmine Cottage. A complete studio with the best shower anywhere. Fully equipped. Margot is a gem; she is warm and helpful without being nosy or pushy. Her delightful little dog Hugo is small enough to hide in your suitcase and you will probably want to, but don't! It would break Margot's heart. Vine Street Inn is the only B & B I could find that is close enough to the great restaurants near the Plaza so no designated driver needed. We are coming back in three months.

Comfortable accommodations, many thoughtful details, good and well-cooked food, quiet and residential but also walking distance to many of Paso's nice downtown features. Adorable dog. The best combination of being in a home and being in a hotel. Nicely done! We've already reserved our next year's stay.
