This is our third time at Graystone B&B (in NOTL Canada), and we would never stay anywhere else! In fact, we specifically plan our entire trip (which includes theater, winery tours, bicycling, and dinners) contingent upon being able to stay at Graystone. The proprietors, Nicky & Ben, have set the standard for B&B experiences, both in Canada and in the US. We have stayed at several dozen B&Bs, and none come close to Graystone. This bed & breakfast was a lovely new home located just a few blocks from the fun, flower drenched downtown of Niagra-on-the-Lake. The host and hostess, Ben & Nicky, were very gracious, and the breakfast she served us was superb, being four courses and very delicious! The bedroom and inclusive bath were both large and beautifully appointed and quite clean. Our stay was altogether an extremely positive experience!

I am arranging a weekend away with my 3 roommates from Niagara University - we graduated in 1982 and have not seen each other for many years. I called the Graystone, however, there was no availability for the weekend that we were planning our trip. Nicky was so kind and sweet to me. Even though we were not going to be guests in her home, she looked for other places for us, sent me information about the area and spent time talking to me about our trip. We stayed at the Graystone B & B for the first time 3 years ago, and returned because of our wonderful memories of the place. It is an exceptionally clean establishment, with very elegant and comfortable rooms and ensuites. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfasts so varied and scrumptious that we did not need to have lunch. The B&B is close to downtown Niagara on the Lake and very convenient walking to the Shaw Festival theatres and to scores of wonderful restaurants. We will definitely stay there whenever we are in Niagara on the Lake.

Although we thought that we booked a room on line, our arrival surprised our host as something was missed during the reservation process. Once past the initial concern of unexpcted guests, we were greeted with very enjoyable accommodation and a very gracious hostess. This was a first time for us. We didn't really know what to expect, but the hosts were very nice and friendly. Since we are more accustomed to hotels, this was a more personal touch to a stay, and the food was very good with a great presentation. I guess the only thing we were not use to was we had to be ready at a certain time for breakfast. However, in a home stile atmosphere, this is to be expected. In a hotel setting, you pretty much have a time range of about 6:00 to 10:00 AM for a help your self, all you can eat breakfast.

We were greeted with Big Smile by the host Nikki. The home is tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture. Nikki and Ben has traveled around the world and has collected lovely things from all over the world. The home is very clean, comfortable and warm. We could not ask for better hospitality, excellent food and fantastic accommodation topped of by a warm and welcoming host. Nikki was very helpful in making reservations in restaurants, renting bikes for us as well as offering complimentary wine tour coupons. Our stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had more time to enjoy the comfort of Graystone Bed and Breakfast. We occupied the Cabernet King Suite and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub each evening. The walk out patio was a great welcome as we sat outside over looking the lovely orchard and enjoyed our glass of wine. The breakfasts each day were something to look forward to, It was presented in such a beautiful way and we did not eat lunch after this wonderful breakfast. Our stay was a memorable one and we hope to make this as an annual anniversary trip to Graystone Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed the local chococlates which were presented to us with the turn down service. Nikki knew how to make a lovely pot of Tea!!! Overall it was an incredible experience, inpeccable home with fantastic service. Nikki was truly a remarkable and giving hostess. We will highly recommend this place to all our friends and family. Finally ,Olympic Gold Medals for Canandian couple Nikki and Ben in hosiptality and great food!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Graystone. We were joined by two other couples who are old friends. With it's three rooms thus filled, we "owned" the Graystone for the weekend. But Nicky and Ben, its true owners, really made us feel like it was our home from the moment we first came through the door. They were warm and friendly and saw to it that all our needs were fulfilled. The home is tastefully decorated with treasures from all over the world. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing and the bedrooms comfortable. Plus the breakfasts Nicky served each morning were delicious, healthy and filling making lunch unnecessary! It was also a real treat to talk to Nicky and Ben about their homeland, Sri Lanka, and learn about its culture. Finally we must add that Nicky went over and beyond even after our visit was over. We inadvertently left our cell phone battery charger behind and by the time we discovered it missing and contacted her, she was already in the process of mailing it home to us. In summary we had a wonderful time staying at the Graystone and can heartily recommend it to other travelers considering a visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

My wife and I arrived in town to visit a few wineries and tour the beautiful countryside. Our stay was 5 days and it couldn't have been better, in fact the only reason I didn't give (5) outstanding ratings was to gain credibility. This place and this family diserved all outstandings. Upon arrival both Ben and Nicky greeted us and were very attentive during our stay. My wife has special needs and they made us feel very welcome and made sure all our needs were met. We have been coming to the Shaw Festival for forty years and though we've always been comfortable Nicky and Ben's BB is absolutely the best place we have ever stayed.
