We went to Merida in January 2009 for 3 nights and are happy to choose this lovely oasis of clam situated in the old centre of Merida. All attractions, restaurants, museums and many other places of interest are in walking distance. We are glad to join Free hotel parking in this narrow and busy streets. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated overlooking the delightful garden and pool. Breakfast was served in the courtyard overlooking the delightful garden and pool. Delicious, typical home made and different presented every day. The staff were competent and friendly and Sofija and Daniel, the owners, are very helpful to find extraordinary restaurants in the surroundings - they could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Staying at Las Marionetas - the best choose we made on the whole trip on the Yukatan pennisula. This place in a noisy town centre would recommend it to any travellers wanting to stay somewhere quiet with a more personal touch. Iris & Manfred
