Innkeeper James Blunet maintains a fine property. The Centerboard has a very pleasant atmospehere, comfortable beds, a great location, well appointed rooms and is also very well kept. James is an invaluable source of Island information and also makes guests feel very much at home.

Innkeeper, James Blunt, was extremely hospitable and helpful with touring and restaurants. The Inn is in a great location within walking distance of the historic part of Nantucket, quiet, clean and just like staying at someone's cozy lovely home.

You can't go wrong by staying at the Centerboard. Light-dappled Victorian airiness and elegance without the usual fussiness. Bathrooms are all sparkling new. The interiors were recently updated. The house is very clean and tidy. Decent Continental breakfast with a memorable coffee which they ROAST and BREW in-house! Centerboard has the perfect Nantucket Town location only a few blocks from everything. For 2 people, opt for a Queen room on second floor. For a more indulgent splurge go for the 2-room master 'sweet' complete with living room, fireplace, bar, two TVs, sound system, romantic 4-poster Queen bed (with, like 12 pillows), green marble, 2-room bathroom suite with shower and deep whirlpool tub.
