While the inn is a little out of the way, it is definitely worth the trip. A rustic inn in a very quite, peaceful setting with beautiful views. During our short stay here we saw both wild turkeys and quail strolling the grounds! Tony and Marcia were wonderful hosts.

Marcia, Tony and Treavor are 'class acts'. They are hospitable, friendly and have an awesome location and inn. Our group (5 couples) have enjoyed their hospitality twice and plan to return, again, next year. The experience just could not be better!

My husband reserved a cabin for us at the inn for my birthday weekend. the staff were so friendly and attentive and no detail was spared for our comfort. In the lodge, there were always refreshments available, including cold wine, hot coffee, teas, and various pastries. We thoroughly njoyed our room, jacuzzi, the plush robes, and sleeping under a feather comforter. One night we lay in the hammock and watched the moon and stars overhead. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast on the balcony. I will definitely return!

Small, private, romantic getaway located 1.5 hrs N of SF; just off 101. Owner & staff welcoming and helpful. Hearty, creative and tasty breakfasts served at 8:30, 9 or 9:30 [you choose]. Guest fridge, water & snacks available 24/7. Clean, well-maintained facilities w/variety of lodging options in the main building [5 rooms] or 3 outbuildings permit either privacy or interaction w/other guests. Large, deep clean pool with comfortable furniture & umbrellas is inviting. Historic property on Sonoma Co. hillside above Alexander Valley facing west, about halfway between Cloverdale and Geyserville. Towns have enough dinner options to last 4 – 5 nights, with menus available to review at the Inn. More options available in Healdsburg, some 15 miles south. Plenty of wineries to visit nearby during the daytime, including Cellar8 [formerly the historic Italian Swiss Colony] right off the Asti Rd freeway exit. Easy access to Russian River just below the property. We stayed in the Crocker room in the main lodge, which is the most secluded, since it is at the far end of the wrap-around porch. The Crocker corner has large windows facing south and smaller windows on the corner facing west to watch the sun and moon set over the far ridges. Down below, the Alexander Valley is completely covered in grape vines. Sitting chairs and table with chairs on the wide porch complete the immediate outdoors. Inside, a massive four-poster king bed is the centerpiece of this high-ceilinged room. Period furniture pieces, including armoire, are complemented by modern gas fireplace and TV w/DVD/VHS player. Interior doors in each of the main rooms permit easy access to the central dining room.

Old Crocker Inn is a highly recommended dog-friendly bed and breakfast in Alexander Valley. Loved the location. The inn is tucked in the hills of Cloverdale within 30 minutes to the vineyards in Healdsburg and Geyserville. Very quiet and secluded. And very beautiful. Perfect location if you wish to spend a weekend in wine country. Alexander valley is an excellent alternative to the busier and touristier Sonoma and Napa Valley. Loved the breakfast. The blueberry and apple-cinnamon-walnut scones were AMAZING. The artichoke-sundried-tomato quiche with chicken apple sausage was very TASTY. And they have a wide selection of tea and beverages that are complimentary all throughout the day. The chocolate chip bundt cake they had the evening we stayed was EXCELLENT. Loved the hospitality. Marcia and Tony were AMAZING and friendly hosts. They make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay at their inn much more enjoyable. Loved the room. Loved the bed. The king-size bed in the Jupiter was very comfortable. Loved the spacious bathroom and the soft towels. And finally, loved that this AMAZING inn is very very dog-friendly. Stanford, our adorable corgi had a great time walking in the meadow and the trails. We highly recommend this wonderful place. And I almost forgot to mention that it is very reasonably priced. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

A beautiful inn on fairly large acreage. Nice rooms, not too Victorian- my husband liked it. In-room fireplaces, robes, claw-foot tub. Great breakfast!!!!!! Close to (not too close) river, wineries. very peaceful.
