Our stay earlier this week at High Pointe Inn was one we will be talking about for a long, long time. Debbie and Rich were the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. From the moment we arrived it was like being with family. They love it when the guests mingle in the living room and sitting rooms. In the evening the bar was open and it was nice to sit and relax with a cocktail. We talked about taking the ferry to Nantucket and right away they suggested that they would book it on line and all we had to do is show up. The tickets were booked through the Inn and we didn't have to pay anything until we checked out. It was great. We even saved $10.00 for parking because they pre-booked this for us. I have celiac disease and I was allowed to bring my own gluten free pancake mix and english muffins. Rich prepared them along with the other foods on the menu and they were perfect. My husband loved the breakfast and to my surprise it was almost too much for him to eat some mornings. The food is so good and very beautifully presented. Hot, colorful, healthy, tasty, plentiful, pretty much sums it up. The spacious room and common areas made us feel like we were staying in a luxury private home. Book this B&B and you will be raving about it just like I am. lol Rich and Debbie are in their element, they really have thought of everything. The place is spotless and wonderful, what are you waiting for book this for your next time away.

My husband and I were guests of the High Pointe Inn for two evenings and without sounding repetitious, Inkeepers Debbie & Rich Howard were outstanding hosts. You can truly feel their passion for what they do - as it is displayed throughout their home. When we settled into our room it was quiet, peaceful and very calming. When we ventured out - they gave us many recommendations that maximized our whirl-wind tour of Cape Cod in one day. Breakfast was outstanding and inviting. I recently attended my girlfriend's family reunion on the Cape, and we came across this gem doing our online research. We read the extensive reviews, and thought, "OK, we'll do it, but don't believe everything you read." We received a gift two-night stay at the High Pointe Inn for our 21st wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful bed & breakfast until we left, Rich and Debbie have pampered us like royalty. The hotel sits nestled on a picturesque hill with a unique distant view of Cape Cod Bay. We stayed in the Moonglow Room - the amenities were superb! The morning breakfasts were awesome! Rich is an excellent cook. We had his delicious Popovers to start breakfast - light, golden-brown and mouth-watering; add some butter and cranberry jam made from Cape Cod cranberry bogs leaves you wanting more! I had an omelette with everything on it - ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OMELETTE I'VE EVER TASTED!!!!! Gourmet coffee (and decaf) and assorted tea to pour in heated mugs. At the end of breakfast, Debbie brought out warm moist hand towels served on wooden cradles for each of us - Rich and Debbie spared nothing in attention to every detail. I work with computers, so having wi-fi access from our room was excellent - very good connection such that I was able to download an upgrade for my laptop! (for you computer buffs out there) Rich and Debbie are a wonderful couple and very helpful with touring suggestions - they even offered to make reservations for anyplace we wanted to go. They are a wonderfully happy couple and enjoy hosting their bed and breakfast - and it shows! I could write a whole lot more, but I'll say you'll have to spend some time there to truly experience five-star hotel quality service that we enjoyed there. To Rich & Debbie, thank so much for your "above and beyond service". We hope to spend some time at High Pointe Inn again and again. Saw the ad for High Pointe on line and thought," why drive all the way north to NH or Maine for a relaxing couple of days when we can drive less than an hour?" Having just returned from five days at the High Pointe Inn in late December, we felt compelled to share our winter perspective of this inn. We arrived after dark on December 27th and the candles in the windows and twinkling live Christmas tree immediately made us feel at home. Innkeeper Rich Howard met us at the door and helped us with our luggage as he showed us around the inn. It is truly an exceptionally peaceful and beautiful place. The rooms are decorated in what I call "Pottery Barn" style (ummm...wonderful) and the entire inn is absolutely immaculate. Our room was the red room upstairs, which we soon began referring to as our sanctuary. It is a very spacious room with a large picture window overlooking dunes, marshes and with a view of the distant sea. Binoculars and a bird book are provided along with comfortable seating to enjoy the outdoors from the warmth of the room. Our room also had a cozy reading area, a writing nook, and a beautiful spa-like bathroom with granite counters and a vessel sink. Other in-room amenities included a refrigerator, beach chairs (we didn't need those), robes (needed those), wine glasses, dvd player, bottled water, plush towels, and even an atlas...which we took with us each day as we explored the Cape. It was so nice to know where we were returning to each evening. Rich's nightly treat of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and hot coffee were an added nice touch. And the breakfasts...we can't say enough about them. Top of the line. Delectable. Gourmet. The best ever. The High Pointe Inn is the most exceptional inn we have ever had the pleasure of frequenting. We highly recommend it and are looking forward to experiencing it from a spring, summer and fall perspective!

Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, we arrived at HIgh Pointe Inn with no expectations, but a lot of hope that we had made a good decision. We could not have hoped for anything more. The friendliness or the owners and their desire to accomodate their guests exceeded any expectations we might have had. Our room was beautiful. The view was wonderful. Just to lie in bed and look out of the window brought one a sense of peace. At breakfast, you were made to feel that you were royalty. This experience truly added to our first visit to Cape Cod. I highly recommend the High Pointe Inn. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The inn is beautiful both inside and out. It is exquisitely decorated, yet comfortable, and it is extemely clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with wild flowers and gardens. The view from the upstairs rooms is terrific, and the deck off of the downstairs rooms are comfortable is relaxing. The attention to detail throughout the inn was amazing, Rich and Debbie didn't miss a thing. Speaking of Rich and Debbie, they are fantastic innkeepers. They are gracious and hospitable; extremely accommodating; have a great sense of humor; make you feel comfortable, welcome and right at home. We loved their yellow lab, Casey, as well, having Casey around truly made the inn feel like a home. My husband and I both agree that of all the inns and B&Bs we've stayed at over the years, we both felt most comfortable at the High Pointe Inn. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels for business. We are seasoned travellers but the room we stayed in was by far the most beautiful room we have ever been lucky enough to have and the view over the autumn foliage to the ocean was breathtaking! When my internet access failed Rich lent me his lap-top and tried to get mine working again. They couldn't have done more for us and if we are lucky enough to return to The Cape we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Hospitality second to none!

Our room was absolutely beautiful and roomy with an incredible view of the salt marsh and ocean. My wife and I tried a different breakfast from their menu every morning and each one was outstanding. Debbie and Rich were wonderful, personable hosts who made the inn feel like a home. They attended to every detail (storing our bikes, warm towels after breakfast, maps/directions to day trip destinations, etc.). The inn is quiet with clean, comfortable rooms and comfortable common areas. The amenities were wonderful (hair dryer, lotions, refrigerator, beach towels, beach chairs and beach bag, wine glasses, free cordials, internet access, CD player, etc.). Overall, the value was very good for the price and features offered compared to other places we've stayed. My only recommendations (personal preferences, not necessities) would be fluffier pillows for the beds and possibly DVD players. I would highly recommend the High Pointe Inn for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway on the Cape.

We just stayed at the High Pointe Inn for three nights and it was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the Sand Dollar room downstairs and it was perfect. The room was large and comfortable with everything you could think of including binoculars. We had a deck off our room and sat there with a drink in the afternoon and enjoyed the view of the garden and open space. Rich and Debbie were wonderful hosts and treated us so well. Our every need was taken care of including great dining suggestions and great company. We really enjoyed our breakfasts - the food and the other guests made it so much fun. It is evident why this Inn is so popular and special - Debbie and Rich are easy to be with but also seemed to sense when you just wanted some quiet time and they left us alone. We would highly recommend this Inn to anyone and especially people who enjoy a clean and friendly environment in a beautiful setting.

For the past two years, my other half, his two bestfriends from grade school/high school and their wives head to the High Pointe Inn for a weekend of laughter. There are only three bedrooms in the Inn and it's perfect for us. We have the run of the Inn for the entire weekend. The Innkeepers, Rich and Deb Howard are the best. They're our 4th couple! They keep their distance, but, are always available and they are happy to join in fun filled weekend! We had never stayed at a B&B before but when PBS was hosting their yearly auction my husband was intrigued by this Inn and bid on it. We won the bid and had an absolutely fabulous stay. A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! Stunning views of the salt marsh and the bay. Quiet, comfortable, and Rich and Debbie were warm and welcoming. You've GOT to TRY the French Toast - it was SO good that I forgot to offer my wife a bite! We watched TV in the cozy living room, and rode our bikes on the Rail Trail - a perfect day to ride and be outside. From the moment we were greated we felt right at home. We arrived at night and the Inn looked like a dream cottage all lit up. Our room was so tastefully decorated, clean and so inviting that we picked up our dinner and ate it in our room. Debbie and Richard were delightful. We had an incredibly huge window with a stupendous view. The breakfast was a gourmet breakfast with (really) fresh baked muffins and many choices from the menus which are prepared individually to your taste. It is a very romantic inn. We plant to return and enjoy it again. It is really a gem.

We stayed in the Sand Dollar room for two nights over a weekend and had a blast. We've been to other Inns on the Cape before and this one is the best ever. Not only are the rates right but, Debbie and Rich are the perfect Inn keepers and run a completely professional operation. The only downside to the whole experience is that we wish we could have stayed longer! You won't regret booking any of the rooms at the High Point Inn.

Room was very nice, breakfast was very impressive, but the inn keepeers hospitality was the best. Provided umbrellas on a rainy day, whipped up maps for us without us even having to ask, insisted we keep one of their road atlases with us on the road, packed a breakfast for us to take with us to the airport on the day we were leaving.

We were very lucky to secure two days as an Enchanted Evening package at the High Pointe Inn. Thank goodness we found the Pointe package online and there was a vacancy. Our room was gorgeous with a view over a protected salt marsh which was filled with birds. A guide to birds book was provided along with binoculars to the view the wildlife. We enjoyed cordials before settling in and reading awaiting our first taste of a High Pointe breakfast. It was worth the wait. The chef (Rich) prepares food as you like it and they do not tell you what to eat: you can select from a menu and they also offer a daily special. You must try the blueberry pancakes (luscious berries) and the very satisfying bacon. The innkeepers nailed every amenity, from beach chairs and towels (available for free) and cold bottled water in the room's mini-fridge. Very clean rooms also added to the touch of class we enjoyed. Though it did rain most of our first day, the innkeepers highly suggested we get our bike ride in early as they provided a day's forecast. The rest of the day was spent stopping at shops recommended along Route 6-A. We decided to take in a wine-tasting at the Belfry as our package included the three-course meal there. We arrived early to take in the four-wine tasting event featuring wines by Joseph Carr. What a splended way to begin a dining experience. Each Wednesday the Belfry features a wine tasting and we highly recommend to take part in this. Breakfast arrived and the special was Belgian waffles. Laced with strawberries throughout (fresh no less) and just enough whipped cream, it was an experience to behold. Would we recommend going to the High Pointe? We are certainly recommending to ourselves to make a point to book a time at the Pointe for a longer time frame next summer.

We have stayed in many, many bed and breakfast establishments, private hotels and small boutique inns, over the span of 35 years of marriage. The High Pointe Inn ranks in the top three, and certainly is the #1 in New England. Immaculate, serene, warm, comfortable and elegant. Breakfasts were a highlight, as we sat with engaging and witty guests from across the pond and from the Deep South--not rushing, just genuinely enjoying a beautiful bounty of expertly prepared foods. The hosts have the perfect balance of warmth and information, and we found the little surprises waiting on our pillows to be a thoughtful touch. Despite the fact that the rain was coming in sideways on 30 mile winds, we were cosy and comfortable, and even braved the elements to enjoy wonderful route 6A. We will go back, hopefully again and again, and have told our circle of friends about this truly outstanding inn, only hoping that there will still be room for us!

Are you kidding me!!! This was my first experience at a Bed and Breakfast, and at first the thought of staying in a home like setting seemed a little weird the closer I got to the location. But immediately at the door we were greeted by the warmest host Debbie Howard. The facility was IMMACULATE, our room "the red room" was so spacious and felt like I was in a hotel and a home at the same time. In the morning we could smell the breakfast cooking from our room, courtesy of Rich Howard, which made us jump out of bed so that we could get dressed for breakfast. At the table, the presentation, service and food was on the same level as a five star restaurant, and our fellow guest were great company. Debbie and Rich you are more precious than gold, High Pointe completely lives up to it's name and I will definately, definately, definately be back!!! Thank you.

Rich and Debbie are the best. We loved their exotic red room with its magnificent view and luxurious bed. At night we played board games and had a nip compliments of Rich! The home was immaculate and our hosts supplied lots of info about the area! Manifique!
