Ed Parker is a wonderful, creative host. A tour of his Snickerfritz Art Gallery was fun and gives great insight to this warm conversationalist. We came to attend the 4th Annual Collard Green Festival, met the Mayor, ate our fill and got great directions to tour the cultural center that Cleveland is. The lagniappe that we had not anticipated was making great new friends in Ed Parker and his assistant, Lainey. Slick is not the word for Parkers, but homey is. Bring a good appetite, as the breakfast is enormous.

Unlike the cookie cutter hotels, Parker's Guest House was a refurbished Victorian home. Ed & Janie made us feel welcome, comfortable and like family. Breakfast was a real treat -- served family style conversation flowed easily. Ed Parker shared his life, his love for art & people & was a pure joy.

My daughter and her family were visiting from Texas and my home is comfortable but small. I reserved Parker's bed and breakfast for the weekend,as a treat to my family of 6, including myself. We were all able to be together comfortably as we had the run of the house. I was also able to reserve the kitchen so that I could prepare my grandchildren's favorite foods. Ed Parker and Lainey were most accommodating and gracious hosts imaginable. We had tours of his art gallery and entertainment complex and surrounding grounds. Everything was first rate in cleanliness and service. We will certainly consider this type of family gathering again in the future.

I stayed at Ed Parker's Guest House while visiting my daughter on the Case-Western University Campus. I stayed in the David Nathaniel Room with a full size bed. Ed is an internationally known artist and has renovated his home so that each room is comfortable, welcoming, private (each has it's own private, spotless bath/shower) and uplifting. Each day, Ed would ask what time he could serve breakfast and then served me in a dining room that was fit for monarchy. His cooking is healthy, well-balanced, delicious and served in a way that only an artist could create! In addition to all that the home, and Ed himself, have to offer, I was invited to visit his art gallery, adjoining his home. It is a very moving experience. Ed Parker's art is passionate and portrayed in numerous media. At the conclusion of my stay, Ed presented me with one of his famous prints and signed it for me. I have stayed at many Bed & Breakfasts, but this one is an experience you must try to arrange.

I stayed at Parker's Guest House twice for 3 days each visit. I enjoyed Ed and Laine's company very much. Ed was accomodating right from the get-go. He met me in the driveway, carried our bags in, and made me feel welcome right from the start. Breakfast was always served at my convenience and the food was always superb along with the conversation. The house was always quiet in the night time for sleeping and was comfortable. I would recommend it very high.ly

Our family's stay at Parker's Guest House was truly a blessing and without a doubt, outstanding!! Our family members were coming from various cities for the graduation ceremony of our daughter, (their sister, aunt or friend), and we wanted to be able to stay/lodge together. Parker's Guest House perfectly fit the bill and supplied every one of our needs. The Guest House was large yet 'homey' and our entire family was able to fit and function very comfortably. Mr. Parker was an excellent 'Innkeeper', who was very professional as well as friendly and he made each and every one of us feel completely at home. On Sunday, which by the way was Mother's Day, additional family members joined us as we totally (and I want to emphasize TOTALLY!) enjoyed a wonderful home-style meal (very reasonably priced) at his "Art Cafe", located right next door to the Guest House. We were also able to appreciate Mr. Parker's art and his extraordinary artistic ability as we toured his "Art Gallery", which was housed in the same building as the Cafe. Well, I could go on and on in praises, but I'll stop here and highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast spot, better known as "Parker's Guest House"!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Parker's Guest House. Mr. Parker is a wonderful host and an inspiring artist. The location is convenient to museums and other attractions. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast of omelette, potatoes, turkey bacon and sausage, and toast was delicious! We were thoroughly welcomed during our stay and look forward to our next visit.
