We stayed over two nights here in the middle of rain storm. Despite the bad weather, we totally relaxed ourselves in the hot tub. We also enjoyed the desert bar (three kinds of cakes and various kinds of tea). But the most impressive service was definitely the big breakfast, which we unfortunately could not finish. Biggest breakfast ever had in our lives. We would never forget.

We stayed in the English Room it was adorable!! Walls are thin...so you can hear other people. But the Inn was great, cute, beautiful view. The caretakers were on vacation and had a wonderful person there, Echo. She was very helpful and resourceful. Gave us all kinds of tips and other places to see that are not in books. They wake you up with a knock on the door (you let them know when) and a tray with coffee, tea or whatever you requested from the night before. No alarm clocks!! Whoopee!! The food...OH the food!! It was delicious!! Tasty, HUGE portions could keep you full all day long. The view from the dining room while you eat your breakfast is spectacular! Or you can request it to be delivered to your room! And the tasty little desserts all day along!! Yummy!! Helpful when you are hiking all day. The B&B was very clean and lots of books that are about the local area. What a great price for such a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast!! Definitely will be planning to go back and stay here!!

This is a great B&B in a great location. We stayed here to be close to the rain forest and the beaches. Our comfortable room had access to a deck overlooking the beautiful valley. The gentle wake-up knock with your beverage of choice was a great touch! Breakfasts were amazing - delicious! We were a little disappointed that the innkeepers were away on vacation therefore leaving a single individual to handle all the responsibilities, i.e., cooking, cleaning, tourism. She did a good job but seemed a little stressed at times. I would highly recommend staying here despite this.

This was the best B&B I've ever stayed in. The location was beautiful, Jim, Rachel and the dogs were great, and the food was unbelievable! Usually, breakfast is just muffins and cereal at these places, but here, you get 6 really yummy breakfast choices! There were 4 of us in our party, so we all sampled each others food. The 24 hour dessert bar was also incredible.The view from the breakfast table was amazing, and the hot tub downstairs was very relaxing. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds very comfortable. Not those overly soft beds that are impossible to get out of. I would highly recommend the Misty Valley Inn to anyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. Upon arriving, we were met with self-serve Tea with homemade Carrot Cake, and other homemade desserts. That evening after hiking and driving we were able to enjoy a glass of wine in the outdoor Hot tub overlooking the valley and watching the moon rise. The breakfast which we were able to chooser from several selections was absolutely delicious and much more than we could eat. It's a wonderful value and the morning is all about pampering with beverages of your choice brought to your room, to being served a delicious breakfast at our time of choosing.

I read about Misty Valley in the AAA TourBook. It had received only 2 diamonds. I had hoped to be pleasantly surprised and I was. We had come off of four days of hard camping and needed some pampering, which Rached and Erica supplied nicely. The dessert bar was awesome, coffee in the room was a welcoming touch, and the breakfast was fabulous. I also enjoyed the view, the books, and the shower.

We stayed for just one night in July. (We wished we were staying longer). Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. The personal wake up service was something that I didn't think I would care about, but I was wrong! It was wonderful to be woke with just a light knock on the door and the made-to-order hot chocolate. The breakfast was incredible- I highly recomend the morrocan omelet. The hot tub was perfect. I can not find one thing that I was not very happy with. STAY HERE!!!

This inn is a gem. The rooms are pleasant, nice private bath, all the amenities. The wakeup knock at the door brings a lovely tray with your morning liquid refreshment and fresh flowers. This enables you to leave the comfortable bed and start your day. Then Rachel or Jim will cook your delicious, enormous, wonderful breakfast which you eat while looking out the panoramic window. Wonderful innkeepers, wonderful room and bed, totally wonderful visit at a totally affordable price. Really close to the Washington beaches, the Hoh Rainforest, and situated between Forks and Port Angeles which is an hour away. It's our first time experience with B&B so we're not sure what to expect. Jim and Rachel was so nice and friendly. We were staying in French Room, it was a nice room with in site bathroom. What impress me is the next morning. Jim will give you a morning call personally by knocking on your door and deliver coffee in a beautiful bed tray. After enjoying your coffee in bed and get ready, you can go ahead to dining room and waiting for SUPERB BREAKFAST!! It started with Peach Cobbler followed by Berry Muffin then your choice of 8 spices omelet, strawberry crepe, berry pancake, steam apple, waffle and I forgot the other one. I had omelet and my husband had strawberry crepe which is outstanding. We are just FULL. Oh .. did I mention the dessert buffet they have?? that's include brownies, lemon square, raspberry chocolate cake and chocolate truffle. Talking about satisfying your sweet tooth.

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights and it was totally fabulous. There are only 4 rooms so it is almost like just staying in a big house. Waking up to the tap at the door with coffee on a tray was probably the best part. The breakfasts were really good and filling and the innkeepers were very friendly. When we mentioned we were there on our honeymoon, we returned to our room later and found a poem about marriage and flower petals on our bed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly place to vacation.

I have to start by saying that we usually do not stay at B&Bs. We were headed to Rialto Beach for a wedding and lodging for a single night is limited in the area. That said, we were very happy with the Misty Valley Inn. Jim and Rachel are very nice and were so kind to accomodate our early afternoon arrival before their regular check in time. They made a special effort for our room to be ready for us early. While the space is not super modern, it is comfortable and the scenery is gorgeous. The coffee, tea and sweets are nice to have. We enjoyed a cup of tea and some cake after returning from the wedding reception about 10:30pm. The reason I like Misty Valley better than the few other B&Bs we have stayed at is the privacy. Coffee service to your door at a time you choose. Breakfast also at a time you choose. And when the weather is nice, the Dutch Room has it's own porch with table and chairs for breakfast if you prefer not to dine with a group. The selection for breakfast is nice, and everything was tasty. If I needed a place in or around Forks, I would certainly stay again. It was very nice.

The stay started after a 14 hour trip from Glacier National Park, MT to Forks, WA. We were met at the door by the hosts and there began a wonderful 4 nights at The Misty Valley Inn. Words cannot explain how wonderful this inn is. That is only something that can be explained by sight and taste--yes,taste. The most wonderful breakfasts ever invented are served here. The omlete is special, and the comment was made that the strawberry crepes looked like a giant burrito. We arrived at the inn after 9 PM every night and were greated by one of the hosts to take our order for the next morning's breakfast. The English room was clean and comfortable, but just a tiny bit small--you can live with it. On the morning of our departure I mentioned how much I liked the chocolate chip cookies that were available at the evening desert bar one night. Rachel quickly whipped up a batch so that I could take some with me on our drive back to California. That is service!

After 2/12 weeks on the road, we ended up at Misty Valley. What a beautiful setting! We were treated to home-made baked goods when we arrived in the evening, available all day. Jim and his wife are quite friendly and make a good effort, but there are several ways in which Misty Valley did not meet our expectations. The decor was fussy, and overdone with doilies and fake flowers. The breakfast items sounded delicious, but turned out to be bland and heavy. Overall, good effort, but it felt a lot like a trip to Grandma's house.

Talk about "Bang for your Buck" this B & B is a must if your in the area ~ your every need is thought of right down to the strong wireless connection through out, I especially liked the fact that there was not a TV in your room, they have a common area for guests to tune in if you must. Everything was clean, clean, clean and I am "A-Type". Each room has its own private bath YEAH!!!!! This was our first B&B stay and we liked it very much! Breakfasts were large and delicious and customized from one of the 6 entree options at the time of our choosing! The room was elegant and the hosts provided wonderful little extras that made everything run smoothly - local advice, binoculars to watch the elk, extra muffins to fuel our day's adventures, etc. The only reason we rated cleanliness slightly lower was that the "flip-flops" provided for the short walk to the hottub were not as clean as might have been nice (we didn't end up using the hottub, so it wasn't a problem for us!). Overall we were very pleased, and loved the personal, yet elegant atmosphere with a location that was close to beaches(20 min) and hiking. We hope to come back again sometime!

We stayed in the Dutch room with the king size bed for four nights. The bed was so comfortable I asked Jim what brand and type it was for when we might have to replace ours. Each evening Jim would take our order for the following morning's breakfast and the time we wanted it. Each breakfast was delicious and filling - in fact, after the first day we asked for smaller portions of the pancakes and french toast as we couldn't eat all that was put in front of us. One of the really nice touches was having cake and cookies each evening, after we returned from our day's outing, with the best tasting hot chocolate we have been served anywhere. We found everything described on their website to be accurate.

The Bennets are themselves the best boast at the Inn...and that is saying alot. The breakfast was by far the most delightful I have had the pleasure of partaking in my years of wining and dining. They offer a selection of unique dishes; soaked, freshly herbed, and/or sauced by Mrs. Bennet's own versions of traditional favorites. I can heartily recommend the omelet, and don't forget to sample the hot chocolate... The view is lovely, especially when relaxing on the back porch. Squirrels, chipmonks, and local birds decorate the gardens and patio planters. The rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. But it's the Bennets themselves that make you wish you could just move in and stay. They are a gracious, enjoyable couple who welcomed us in their home as if friends. They favored us with afternoon treats and teas, while supplying us with local information and dinner suggestions around town and at the nearby beaches. I was not surprised to learn that they have operated the business for many years- for they are obviously skilled hosts that enjoy what they do. In fact, another guest was enjoying her seventh visit. A geat place to relax, chat, eat like royalty...and make friends.

We stayed a week here on our honeymoon, and loved it! There are several choices of breakfast food, all delicious and big enough for the hungriest person. The rooms are comfortable though not overly lavish. And the price is unbeatable. Visit the nearby beaches, Hoh rain forest, and Lake Crescent area. We recommend the Smokehouse restaurant just down the highway, and the Kalaloch lodge restaurant.
